I know what you mean. I'm just not feeling like my Good Enough right now is good enough. A big problem for me is I have my group of kids that turns everything in, the small group that turns things in intermittently, and the other group that turns in NOTHING. I don't know how to help those non communicative kids. I'm making connections with that active group of students, but that little handful of kids trying to fly under the radar is tough on me. I know how to reach them in a classroom setting, but this virtual setting is presenting a real challenge in reaching them in any significant way.

It is super hard being teacher, parent facilitator, therapist, and IT trouble shooter all at one time.

And that's what makes you the teacher you are...some would say, well I'm doing fine with most of the kids. But those disengaged kids... engaging them is where the best rewards are. I too am unsure how to conjure that particular magic through a computer...

I really like the Calm app, but Tamara Levitt's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. If there is an option to choose anyone else, I absolutely do.

Ha! That's so funny! I heard her voice and I immediately wanted to change to a man's voice! No way I could listen to her! I am currently using John Armstrong as my narrator. His voice is soothing!

She's the worst! There are lots of people annoyed by her voice online. Some even complained to customer service about it. She does that vocal fry thing...

The sleep stories knock me right out. Stephen Lyons is one of my favorite narrators. He sounds like Santa Claus reading you a bedtime story.
