Weight 121.6. Need to start cutting down on the eating and drinking!

SIL's bladder cancer procedure went well but they said there was more extensive scraping than expected and sent her home with a catheter for 4 days. I get the impression that the path report will be more important as well. But hopefully all is clear. She felt okay but exhausted last night. She does plan to go visit her brother and family along with the rest of us today but may not stay long.

Last evening was not the family affair I was hoping for. Youngest DD wanted to get to the sports bar to see hockey playoffs and older DD worked extremely late. So I ate leftovers with younger DD and DS cooked for himself and older DD. I went to the sports bar for an hour with younger DD, then came home and watched TV with older DD. DS is in a mood about something so was making himself scarce. Sigh...

Mike is coming here for a while for lunch and a walk before our family event late this afternoon. Younger DD wants to meet him. So DS is the only holdout.

I have to get in gear and shower, then go to the food store for appetizers for tonight. Have a safe and healthy day!

Waiting for test results is the worst. Hope the news is okay when they come.

I am coming a little undone as the school year creeps closer. So, so tired of living with ambiguity. I am trying really hard to not get twisted into knots about things I really can't control and focus on what I can control, and what my needs are.

Last night we went to a very sweet, but expensive restaurant downtown. Their patio is in an alley behind the restaurant. Loved the ambiance and the food. Had dessert too, because I'm not supposed to lose weight now that I've been measured. Ha! I'm very, very good at not losing weight.

Today, not much of anything planned. That's okay. I had appointments every day this week, and starting Monday, I will have appointments every day until the end of September. I will relish the no schedule mode today.

Late afternoon pop in - weekend is nearly over........

We have had sooo much rain over the weekend that I think we might be getting out in a boat if it doesnt stop. The chook yard is like a swamp - poor things are now running around the backyard after I cleaned their house etc

Not a lot to report - just spent the weekend getting more stuff done around the city house. Patch painting is finished after the kitchen install which was done in March. DH did the cobwebs on the high rafters. There has been laundry, cleaning of animal pens, made a Thai Red Curry Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Soup yesterday - using up veggies - we had it for lunch today and it was nice. I have saved a serve for my mum. DH is out concreting in the pavers for the back path in between rain showers. Thats about all I have

Today marks our official halfway for our Stage 4 lockdown. The numbers have fallen a lot - they are saying we are past the peak so heres to crossed fingers and a whole lot of hope we are. Im weary.....

Love to you all
