Greetings My Buddies

Nothing new since yesterday. Still doing our best to avoid the virus. So far so good but 7 more cases in our rural county. DH had a tele med appointment today as I did last week. New normal. Liz I am jealous of you getting to go to the dentist! Imagine that. I need a cleaning but its not set up until october. And nice T shirt.

Cecily sorry Fergie is ailing but glad you can get vet care. Its a real hassle here - I am taking Tesla for a rabies shot next week and Chip the following week for a check up. I think he is fine - just old - but DH is obsessed about the fact that he is not eating all that much. I think he is eating enough but has slowed down due to covid inactivity. We shall see. Glad you found a kind man to help coax fergie on the ramp.

Peps glad you are through the procedure and hope it heals quickly. As mentioned, DH had a whole series of drops with his but all is different. Cateracts seem to be a fact of life. Sorry Ron has them. I have them too but as yet they are not sending me to surgery though I think the time is coming soon.

Yes, Covid isolation living alone would be really hard. My studio buddy lives alone out in the woods and I think she talks to her cats a lot. I always talked to dogs when I lived alone. Still do. Anyway, studio buddy was over for visit out on the deck. We need more of that.

I have recently accepted the fact that I am transitioning into being an old person. I realize I am no longer thinking all the time about the future and what I can do to prepare for it. The future is now and thats what I am living for. Sort of weird to not be saving money for future or planning for future security. Its here.

BB how fun to grade bar exams. Bet there is some good stuff. Hope you get whatever job you want.

Take care all.

NO EYE DROPS FOR ME!

I got steroid and antibiotic injections directly into the eye during surgery. It is the newest protocol. Since I am "younger" and have good ocular health, I'm getting to experience the newest and easiest post op treatment for cataract surgery. Lucky me!!!!!

Got a great post op report from ophthalmologist I saw today. He said, "Great job. It doesn't get any better than what I'm seeing." My initial post surgical eye exam shows I have 20/20 in both eyes. Vision is still blurry on and off.

I can shower and wash my face/hair tomorrow. Today is a neck down shower. LOL!

So lucky! Not only did my dad have lots of drops, his inner eye filled with blood and he was blind in it for nearly a month before it all absorbed. Yuck.
