I am always amazed at the difference to my mental health I get from having my hair cut and coloured. Its a huge boost so I can understand why you would schedule around that indeed
My hair is dark brown - still wet so hard to see if its got much in the way of highlights - DH was sad when he thought his fiery redhead had gone - ha ha ha
All will be revealed as it drys I guess :) I can even make ISO hair colour - fun - well at least try anyway :)
Greetings All
Life continues to be in the slow lane. I did the pool thing today. Only two people plus a couple of little kids there. And I don't feel bad for hogging a lane all to myself since those are now the rules. The club must have gotten a PPP loan as there are all these employees hanging around doing not much. I still worry about the place surviving.
Nothing like a beach walk on a hot day Liz. I so love hearing about your adventures with Mike. Sounds like a keeper.
Wishing everyone the best on medical adventures. Especially thinking of Peps.
And Shirley, by now you know what color your hair is. Hope its to your liking. Be glad your government shut stuff down. Wish ours had done that. Things are not good.
We are awash in snow peas. More for dinner.
The sweet peas are pretty much done. But there are roses. DD enjoy your roses. By all means take them along.
Not much else here. Can't complain. Diane S
I sure hope you pool place survives and you can keep going there. Good for both physical and mental health!

Not much going on here. My streak of non-ostriching days was broken this weekend. Must get back on track. I did walk this morning with a friend. This afternoon I vacuumed and washed the floors downstairs. I hate cleaning! But it does feel good when it's done.
Taking Ferg to the vet in the morning due to a broken toenail. It doesn't seem to hurt him, but it's broken so high up, I would prefer the pros deal with it. I also want to talk to them about his lack of back foot/leg control and knuckling. I'd like some advice on how to handle it as when I tried boots, he can't walk in them (fell over). I have ordered some reinforced dog socks to see if those will help. Beyond that I'm not sure what else can be done. I feel like him being unable to walk will be the thing that leads to his last days rather than the heart problem. Poor Ferg!
We have a service in our area I've never used before, but signed up for on a whim. They steam clean and deodorize your garbage cans. Mine had 15 years of heaven knows what built up in the bottom. As of today they sparkle like new. Most satisfying money I've spent in a while! Especially as my cans live in my garage. Funny the things that make me happy these days...
Peps, best on your surgery! Hugs to all.
Steam cleaned garbage cans! Which reminds me of back in the day, when you bought your own trash cans for the curb, not the wheelie ones the trash company gives you. We upgraded, but I couldn't figure out how to throw away the d can. I finally had to put a note on it, we're throwing this one away. Would have been easier to steam clean it.
Yeah for you walking with your friend and for steam cleaned garbage cans. That's a nice feeling to not have old lingering smells!
Poor Ferg. Like all of us old age catches up and does things to our bodies that are hard to cope with.
