Weight 119.6. Either new "love" is making me stay low OR it is the kayaking, walking, and being too busy for snacking...

Busy day today - I already did laundry, dish putting away, had the car washed and food shopped. DD has friends coming at 11 to borrow the kayaks. Lunch out with a high school friend. Then dinner out with Mike. Somewhere in there I need a shower, preferably prior to lunch out.

My weekend of doing very little was productive after all, in that I feel more energetic again.

Anxiety about school reopening is always intruding. Trying to keep it in check. If I didn't have cancer treatments upcoming, I would be okay with trying out this hybrid model. Hopefully, I will be in the classroom eventually. Or not, if Covid numbers rise in my county. Or will our opening be the reason Covid spread increases?

I finished another book yesterday. I might need to order a few more!

Quick Pop in - I have a page of To Do items today....... sigh

Mum had a lovely birthday afternoon. I did all her shopping and got her medications then dropped them over. I stayed masked up in her house while I unpacked everything and then watched her open her presents. She loved them all. She enjoyed her thai food last night and all the phone calls and texts. I showed her all the facebook responses to my post. It was as good a birthday as I could have made it for her.

Not a lot else to report. My cleaner cant come whilst we are in lockdown so I will need to clean the house after work today. We have leftover thai for dinner again so no cooking - pretty easy day really.

So glad your Mum had a good birthday! Cleaning the house is no fun.

Date 3 (tonight) - another wow! We are going to the beach by his house on Wednesday and I will meet his daughter. Fast forwarding on this relationship but it feels good.

I think one of the benefits of being a certain age, is knowing what's going to work, and what's not. So glad you're having fun!!
