Weight 122.4. Dinner out with SILs and DSD on the harbor was phenomenal after a day at the beach with a couple of friends. Much better than a date with someone I am unsure of!
Quick post as it is SIL's 70th Birthday today and we are all working on a party for her later today. DS is shopping/cooking. Surf, turf and grilled veggies. Sounds simple but his will be top of the line. Hydrangea cupcakes for dessert! My gift is 3 months of flower deliveries. Thank you DD for the suggestion!
Sorry to hear about the increasing cases of covid around you Shirl. It is going up a bit here due to the summer tourists. Everyone here wears masks in public but the biggest problems have been the teen to 40 year olds who are having parties and not wearing them. They aren't parties intended to spread it but they think they are invincible. So if one of them has it it spreads like wildfire. Latest count from one party is 19 cases and a different party caused 8 lifeguards in my town to get it.
Glad you found the mildew source Cecily. I hope your old dog starts eating again Diane - when my dog got old Devon had recommended some food which was essentially like homemade dog food and my dog loved it. Miss150 - One day definitely doesn't negate a good week. DD, it sounds like we are all thinking you should stay out of the school during treatment. I bet your family concurs.
Last thing - I signed up for a higher end dating site that does some verification and supposedly attracts better educated people. The matches I have seen so far do seem to support that, so hopefully I will find guys more in line with who I would like to meet.
Have a safe and healthy day!

Running some errands today. DH has today off, as he works this weekend. It almost felt normal, except for the masks. And also I didn't go in at every stop, just Costco. Which is still out of diet coke in cans, but our grocery stores are not.
A friend is stopping by this evening, a fellow teacher, and we're having a backyard happy hour. We know nothing about what is happening yet in our own school district. The district had drawn up 3 proposals, depending on what the governor's direction was. Now that they have that, they will tell us what the plan is next week.
My zinnias are blooming, but the flower heads are very small. I didn't recall buying seeds like this, the plants aren't thumbalina sized, they are 2 feet tall. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and I'm enjoying making little bouquets for the bathroom counter, the kitchen windowsill etc.
Even with birthday celebrations etc, DH and I are holding steady in our weight, and DD continues to lose a bit. I ways found WW to be so draconian in the past. It always left me hungry and feeling like I was hanging on by my fingernails. This new plan is working well for us, especially in this time of Covid. I suppose with the 3 of us doing it together, we have our own "meetings" for added support.
Liz your menu for the birthday party sounds awesome. How lucky for all of you to have a personal chef!

Zoom knitting (with no yarn in sight) was nice. One of my friends in the group invited me over next week for a backyard catch up. Looking forward to it. By then our heatwave should have cleared. I had the air on all night - too hot to open the windows.
Even with the a/c on I had a terrible night's sleep. I saw the clock turn 3. Ugh. There is a rattle in the air vent in my room I need to investigate to see if I can get it to stop. As I'm sitting here, the one in the kitchen has the same rattle...
No plans today. I might start a new puzzle I just got. Will the excitement never end?
I had a quick layover in your airport yesterday. I can certainly see why you would miss flying in and out of MSP. I think it deserves its accolade as voted the best airport in North America 3 years in a row! My friend took her daughter to the bathroom and came out saying it was like a bathroom at Nordstrom - clean, well appointed and even kind of fancy!
And talk about the nice people we met who are employed there!!!!!
I can certainly see why you'd miss that airport.
153.6
A couple days ago it was 153.4 and my initial reaction was to think I'd gained (since it wasn't 154 something****il I realized it was down. Woah. Getting close to those old lows!!
I had to come on here to do a happy dance. We had a patio happy hour last night with some of my husband's previous employees and I received several comments about how thin/good/lost all the baby weight I looked. These were probably the most compliments I've received in awhile. It made me feel so good.
I don't know where it's coming from. I really do think something about me looks thinner, but even more than that, healthier, with my implants out. I know there are some theories floating around the internet that that was an immune response/puffiness/inability to lose excess weight with implants. Hmmm
But I also think maybe I'm finally seeing some of the fruits of my lipectomy/liposuction. I'm still overall disappointed about it because $5k+ later and a much higher and visible scar and I just don't think it made THAT big of a difference. However, it's done, it's paid for, it is what it is and I do think I look better, especially in clothing.
But I also have just been too dadgum busy to eat too much. I walk around like a crazy person chasing my kids. And when I do get a break to sit, eating just doesn't sound too fun!
Except my food choices haven't been the greatest, either. The day before my scale victory, I had a fastfood cheeseburger and a few fries. Literally my very next thought after seeing my scale weight was "see Bonnie. I knew you were doing it wrong all these years. You just need to indulge more." Hahahaha! Now how crazy is that?!
I am glad to hear you sounding more positive about things. Socializing is SO IMPORTANT for everyone but especially for a Mom with toddlers and no outside job. You do look absolutely fantastic BTW!
