Good Morning All

Not a lot of real news. DH and I went and had a COVID Test yesterday as a precaution. I started coughing and slight runny nose, aching ear on top of the headache. He had an aching ear, headache and upset tummy..... There has been a supermarket worker diagnosed last week at our local so we thought we should go get checked just to be sure. You start to feel like you are a panic merchant but I rationalise it that my mum is very high risk so I need to be sure Im not bringing anything to her. DH and I wear masks when we take things to her now. She doesnt leave the house. My DS is coming to collect her shopping list today and will do her groceries and drop them around. Hes such a gem. Anything I ask him to do is never a problem. Would be lost without him.

So today will be very quiet. DH is making Silverside - we will serve it with mash and veg. Will also make up lots of meals for the freezer. I have around 10 more to go in cooling in the fridge. Am making everything in bulk so I can drop more off to Christopher) Autistic Guy when I see him next. Chicken and Leek Pie and also Creamy Chicken, Cauliflower and Pumpkin Bake.

BB- I think you are doing an amazing job of raising those gorgeous girls but you also need to be content and happy. As much as I thought I would love staying at home with my boys, the reality was that I wasn't geared that way. I found at a certain stage that I needed the mental challenge of returning to work - part time firstly then full time once they started primary school. It worked for us so I think you should do what makes you and your beautiful family happy. Maybe look at something part time to test the water with putting the girls into care etc and see how it fits with you all as a family x

Liz - Enjoy the beach - can I have a parcel of sunshine please x Over winter this year !

DD - This is going to sound weird but Im glad you cried as it means you released all that tension and worry. Its healing x You are doing a wonderful job of coping with a hard situation. Im very proud of you. I think if you are more comfortable, take the time off while you are having radiation. You and your health are the most important. They will be waiting for when you are out the other side and more emotionally and physically ready to deal with it all.

Cec - So glad you went out :) Nice to pop on some makeup and have your hair looking good. Says she sitting in her pjs with a massive oversized hoodie on ha ha ha. I loved the hummingbirds when I was staying in San Pablo. Could watch them for hours :)
