Good Morning All

Back at our city house yesterday after a good but busy partial weekend at the farm. Got the lawns all mowed, poisioning done - weeds grow so well in winter ! Chook house all cleaned out and towed out our neighbours 2 doors over when they got bogged. Got them out and then helped them load the cow into our stock crate. Left early Sunday to come home via DSS house - dropped a care box off at their door but didnt see them. Then dropped some meat to my mum and home to work at the city house.

Cleaned out the chook waters, did washing, we cleaned up the wood pile and pressure washed the area as we are collecting more wood tonight after work. Made hamburgers for dinner and had a facetime call with the grandbabies. Elliot is teething so was having a grumpy day but so good to see them

Today is work then go and collect and 2 cubic metres of wood and unload it around the back. That will be my exercise for the day. I have pulled the last of the cafe meals out of the freezerm - chicken and chorizo paella. Cant wait to try it and means an easy dinner as it will be later by the time we are finished

Liz - Sounds like you have done a lot of thinking over the past week and glad David took the news like a gentleman. As he should. The picture of DSD is lovely - I agree with Peps - she looks a lot like her Dad

Diane O - You are in my thoughts all the time - how is your leg healing xx

Peps - Good on you re the suits - A purge is always hugely cleansing I think. I struggle to let go of items I have paid good $$$ for but I justify it in my head with the thought that I am no longer using it and its a good thing to donate it and give someone else who perhaps isnt in the same situation an item they can enjoy.

Cec - Glad your Dad is healing well. Good News

DD - Sounds like you are being a perfect patient - resting and allowing your body to heal. Proud of you xxx Cant wait to see what your family has planned for your upcoming birthday

Hello to all who follow - I had best go get DH up hes overslept

Have a wonderful day all

Greetings Fellow Paddlers

No paddling for me today. Total lack of organization. I should know that when I plan to do 6 things only three will get done. I needed to do the sales tax returns for the gallery today since its Sunday and the government computer is less jammed - or at least thats what I think. Most of my time is spent locating log in numbers and codes. The returns themselves are easy and get paid by auto draft. More banking in recording gallery dues and deposits as well as tax stuff for myself.

Dog Chip is not wanting to eat. He does not seem to be in pain but is just lying around. I think I will take him in as its not usual for him to not eat. Tesla is happily taking what he doesn't want.

Yep Liz. I also saw Paul immediately in the picture of DSD with the bike! Major resemblance in addition to "aura" of happy. Glad she has the bike. Sorry your leg is sore. Rest up. And don't go out with the guy that does not curl your toes. Life is short.

DianeM hope your leg heals as well. Too many sore legs in this bunch. Shirley too. Lets move beyond this.

Peps glad you are donating the suits. Even if you were to return to that size you would to wear them. We gave my mother's costume jewelry to a similar organization that outfits disadvantaged women for job interviews. And my dad had a load of nice business suits and we found a man who had use for them. I have an ever growing pile of stuff in a corner that no longer fits me or I just don't like. Gotta find a place to give it to but its hard up here. I pretty much do all or mostly cotton clothing so it would not be so terrible if it went to the dump.

Cant remember if I posted yesterday but the cardiologist thinks I am fine. No coronary artery disease. The minor tachycardia is no big deal and no treatment warranted right now. It can get worse over time but there are many good treatments. So I ain't gonna worry. BIL, on the other hand, was just diagnosed with a serious arythmea after he fainted. Treatment plan not sure yet but he can't drive and may have to go on disability. He works repairing medical equipment and has a great job so he is not happy. May be having a family zoom meeting here pretty soon.

DH found a new toy - a smart phone app called Plantsnap. You can take a picture of a plant and run it through a data base and it works pretty well. So he spent the afternoon photographing known plants to see if it gets it right. Except we pulled this one weed and it said it was some kind of pine tree. As DH says, artificial intelligence. Still its a cool ap.

Good cardio news for you - I hope DH's ends up not being as severe as currently thought too.

I saw something about that plant app and thought it was a cool idea. Sounds like it mostly gets it correct?
