OMG! Recipe tweaked!
Okay, this one deserves it's own thread, if I do say so myself.
I made Liz's Yogurt pie with a few little tweaks. TO DIE FOR!!!! It smoothed out the grainy texture I was not so fond of. Ron is even eating a piece of it right now. He loves it. He did not like my first pie. I'm glad to make a "light" dessert that pleases him, too. Though, we'll go through the pie faster than I did by myself! lol!
I made a blueberry banana creme pie this time.
I substituted 1 over ripe banana for 1 of the eggs, and an 8 oz package of low fat cream cheese for 1 cup of NF Greek yogurt. i added 2 TBS of flour and used sugar free banana creme pudding instead of lemon pudding.
it is not a zero point dessert made this way, but one pie yields 8 servings at 1 point each. That's pretty darn good for a rich and creamy VERY CHEESECAKE texture desert.
Another change I made was the bake time. I reduced it by 5 minutes. good call. The middle of the pie is smooth as silk. If there is interest, I will post the recipes on our TT page.
Yum! `

Sounds like a keeper! I have been staying with more of the basics but using cheesecake pudding and cut-up strawberries as an alternative to the lemons and blueberries. And for both I sometimes top with blueberry or strawberry compote which I make by adding Splenda and cooking them in the microwave.
But this one sounds like something I could serve to a guest!
