Hi. Checking in with absolutely nothing going on except the sam-o-same-o...
So many wonderful projects and accomplishments- Wow the decking (I have brought the power washer out but am disinclined to use it), landscaping -beautiful Cecily , upholstery, and flooring projects (I think after a few "doggy ooopsies" you will quickly come to appreciate tHe true value in your choice - just superb work, folks.
DD, brave girl- way to hang in there! Am praying that a little snip snip will be all that is called for. I just feel that everything will be isolated. Take care, sweetie!
The weather here has been spectacular-low humidity and warm. Many a stroll. Our poor garden, however, is a shriveled mess- short season for everything- no blackberries at all- phooey.
My eating still sucks. Tprotein levels continue to drop- over relying on carbs to provide short term energy. No mystery the impact on the scales.
Take care and stay the hell away from the -19 booger (Yay, Shirl for a negative test!). And continue with the summer fun!

Back from the surgeon. There were blessedly few surprises. The plan is an MRI, because there are some dense spots on the mammogram that are not tumors, but they just want a good look at them for surgery planning. I can have a lumpectomy. What testing they've done so far show my lymph nodes look healthy. They will biopsy some during the surgery, and if they are as they expect no chemo. Radiation, yes, but I was expecting that. Unfortunately, they can't get me in until July 21. I was unhappy, but now I've decided it's good. For the next month I can kayak, and swim, and drink wine on patios. A little respite. If I had the surgery right away, I couldn't swim, and I'm imagining that I will have to really self isolate during radiation.
Thankful to read that its better than you had thought DD xxx I am in awe as to how you are handling this - such a calm and positive attitude, its a credit to you. May your next month be filled with lots of swimming and kayaking - oh and lovely cold wine on shaded patios :) Sounds just lovely
Thinking of you and sending strength as you navigate all of this xxxxx
It will be hard to wait for the surgery but it sounds like it was caught quite early which is excellent!
