Weight 119.8, WW Bluepoints 10. Today is my WW weigh-in day. I have to do the zoom meeting while I wait in the car during Justice's vet appointment.

I am driving to Worcester MA later this morning (1.5 hours) to visit DD and see her new apartment. I will also visit the cemetery for the first time since DH died. It will be much hotter there than it has been on Cape Cod (by about 10+ degrees). She has reservations for outside dinner, then I will return home.

I guess it is good to go out and do something though I can't say I am looking forward to the long round-trip drive.

Have a safe and healthy Thursday!

Good morning! Slow morning here, overcast and a little drizzle. DH is still on vacation until Monday. Last night we had dinner on our friend's patio with our 2 daughters. Lots of laughs, reminiscing, making plans for more fun times... And maybe a few drinks.

Not sure what the day holds. I've urged DH to go for a bike ride. It's something he loves, and not something we do together. He needs to make room for that.

Our kayaking yesterday was just the right thing for body and soul. I didn't know I would like it as much as I do. I'm glad we bought them.

Tomorrow we drive to Madison WI to see our son. I'm not too concerned about staying in a hotel. We'll bring along our own sanitizing supplies just to be sure, but mostly I am excited about going somewhere!

My DH saved all his monetary gifts for several years to buy a large wine refrigerator. After we rented and enjoyed kayaking together, he quickly shifted gears and bought kayaks about 12+ years ago. I have them here and can wheel them on a special cart down to our pond.

Liz, I'm glad you get to do something "normal" like seeing your daughter's new apartment. I'm imagining visiting the cemetery could be emotional. Drive safely!

Errands yesterday makes for chores today. I bought 5 new plants that need to be planted and I bought a new hose to hook up to my newly assembled power washer (it was sitting in the box in the garage for 2 years, so I can't say it's new. Ah procrastination). None of my current hoses fit the hose attachment so I took the attachment to Home Depot and "Cinderella-ed" all the hoses to find one that fit. Later I'll get started on cleaning off the black sticky stuff that's coming off a big tree/bush in my yard and staining the hardscape.

I also have my therapist that should be a less tearful appointment than last week.

I cooked a decent dinner last night for the first time in a long time. A teriyaki salmon bowl with edamame, avocado And sushi rice. Very tasty. I'm looking forward to the leftovers tonight. I did well eating yesterday until nighttime and then I got snacky. I need to work on that today.

We were at a patio restaurant and DH said, I like these lights, we should get some. I said, there's a box of lights sitting in the garage for a year and a half. It's what we put the flats of diet coke on. So procrastination, we know you well!

About 2 weeks ago i put together a fancy, made to order, very expensive dog crate that i won in a raffle. It had been sitting in my garage for 2 years!

Procrastination is our friend!

That meal sounds really tasty! You know me and snacks - I have to have them so I try to plan them. Your muffin recipe is a staple for me - I usually have one every day. Last time I made them I used Lilly's chocolate bits. You don't get many to stay within a point though so I may try making them with the chocolate Kodiak mix instead of buttermilk next time.
