Good Morning All

Bit late this morning ... Have been running around getting things organised. DH collects his hire car tommorrow and we will then go up to the farm. He will leave to start his drive to Queensland on Friday morning. I will spend the weekend up at the farm with our puppies. Mowing and likely spraying at this stage

Still no weight ........ hmmmmm

Had a lovely visit with my stepson, his partner and the grandbabies. We went for a walk with Ashton while Elliot slept. Elliot said his first word while we were there. It was Da da da - made my heart melt that we could be there to share it. Of course we all made a fuss and he thought that was great. Dinner was well received (it was yum) and Ashton wouldnt let me clean his hands after dessert until he had licked every morsal of the icing off his hands from the vanilla slices. Safe to say it was a hit - he wanted more but that was enough sugar for one night.

Today is work, physio at lunchtime then I will be busy helping DH pack for his 6 weeks away. My eldest son just came home for his week with us - so we are having a nice dinner - Homegrown Angus steak with red wine jus, Sweet potato cous cous and vegetables. Oh and Vanilla slice for dessert (no wonder I dont want to weigh atm!)

Well I had best run - hope you all have a wonderful evening

Greetings Friends

Another day that feels like Sunday.

BB I so loved your post - a total testimonial to what WLS can be. Congrats on your success. I so get the part about being the fat funny friend. Good for you for doing all this at a young age. You should post this on the VSG forum.

Liz, whatever you call them, glad you got the stairs done. They look great. And do a little lizarding for me. I am such a total paleface I cannot do 20 minutes in the sun. Must have shade.

Ooh Peps, cherries! Now I want some. Glad you had a good holiday mini gathering.

Dinner tonight will be Popeye Pie. My kind of cooking - easy dump into the food processor.

Both galleries have permission to reopen. I suspect it will be a big nothing. It is indeed a herd of cats running a shop.

We have been watching a series called Derry Girls. Teenage girls in a catholic girls school in northern Ireland during the height of the uprising. Pretty funny but hard to understand the speech.

Old dog Chip is getting pretty dingy. He can't seem to hear very well nor see.

Take care all. diane s
