Mothers Day 2020 (5/10/20)
"I think you just learn to accept that [the loss of one you love] will be part of everything, while also feeling grateful for whatever happiness is in front of you."
Exactly! So beautifully said. Thank you, DD.

Greetings Mothers and Others
An ordinary day for me since I am a mom only to dogs. But we did have a zoom meeting of DH family whi*****ludes some mothers and kids so that was fun. So nice to see that there are normal happy kids in the world and young adults that are thriving.
Shirley loved your nana story. So sweet. Such a great family you have. Enjoy.
Did a grocery trip today. Not too many at the store and not a hassle.
When I was in high school I worked at a KFC. Mothers day was the biggest day of the year followed by July 4.
Not much else. Stay safe all. Diane S

Working on a puzzle today. Vacuumed and did some laundry. The weather has cooled a lot thank goodness. I've hit a tv lull. Nothing is grabbing me. I've also been trying to brush Ferg. It requires sneaking up on him like a ninja, he dislikes it so. Which means all that thick fur gets knots/mats and makes brushing all the more uncomfortable for him. It's a vicious cycle! I don't even try to work out the knots, anymore, I just cut or clipper them out, but even that he hates. Sigh.
A neighbor is grilling something that smells like teriyaki beef. Now I want some!!
