Weight 122.6,WW Bluepoints 7.

I had a great Zoom with all 3 of my children yesterday. They forbade me to post a picture of all of us on FB, but you can see it (BTW, we were in shock when we saw the length of DS' hair!):

Today the humidity is supposed to be down. I am putting a few things in my garage for people to take for free (bike, exercise bike, TV, plastic chairs). Whatever doesn't go will be trashed (though I may retain the exercise bike as it is essentially unused and I could bring it to Habitat next year).

Humidity will be low today so the windows will be open. Maybe a little lizarding? The beaches in our county open today but I am not going. It will be interesting to see what happens...

Stay safe, stay home, stay healthy!

What has been the response your county to opening the beaches? Are people being responsible, or throwing caution aside?

I started my new program, Omada, yesterday. Already lost a pound :) I'm sure I will lose a couple of pounds of water weight this week. It's interesting to step on the scale and see my weight has been sent. My husband stood on it, and got the message, step off. They must have calibrated the scale in a range that reflects the initial weight I supplied when filling out the application. So my weight goes to my coach everyday, and I fill out an eating log everyday. Probably these 2 steps will have the most impact on my progress. There is an online support group, an activity tracker, and of course, the coach. Weekly lessons. It's free with my health insurance, so I thought, why not give it a go.

Our nice stretch of weather continues, so I'll be doing some more yard work after work. Such good exercise, squatting, bending, lifting, lots of full body movement that I don't even know I did until I'm a bit stiff the next day.

I never heard of Omada. Interesting...

I saw a video taken by someone local at about 10:30 am. There were quite a few people on the beach but the groups were pretty far apart (and all groups were quite small). So at that point it looked okay. There isn't a lot of parking in that area though and the hotels are all shut down... It will be interesting to see the news later today. One thing I noticed was that when the view is looking down a LONG stretch, the beach looked packed with people close together, but when he got closer they really weren't. Sometimes it is difficult to see where truth lies.

Anyway, I am going out to sit and get some sun in my driveway out back as I am not comfortable going to the beach yet. My free driveway sale took 45 minutes for everything to be gone (yeah)!

Perspective can make a big difference! Even with the picture I posted, it probably wasn't as bad as it looked, but it still was an estimated 40-50,000 people on one city's beach. They are debating now whether to close on the next three weekends to keep it from getting like that again. San Clemente beach further south I thought had a good plan. It was only open to recreational activities like surfing, walking, or running. But no sitting, lizarding or congregating. They seemed to do okay on the same day as the pic.

Feeling very sad. My brothers long term girlfriend died today. Though her cancer was terminal they thought she had more time and she did not have a peaceful passing. I'm so sad for my brother. How strange that we are both "widowed" within a 4 month period. They lived in San Jose California so I won't be able to see him until the current restrictions are eased.

Oh how sad!! This is terrible news for your family. What a cruel time this is for your family and Bonnies family. Was your brother able to be with her?

I'm very sorry, Liz. Cancer is horrible.

Greetings All

So much time. So little to do. Well there is always cleaning and other yucky work but no thanks. I will just sit and net surf.

Oh, and a couple of hours ago our internet and tv went down! Fortunately its back. There would have been people in the street with pitchforks!

Great picture Liz. Our gallery board is having a zoom meeting tonight but I don't want to listen to it. Glad your free garage sale worked. People do that here a lot too.

The little snow peas planted from seed are sprouting. thats the most exciting thing around here. That and I got to take the heart monitor off after two weeks and get my hair washed thoroughly. The trash bag - big deal didn't work all that well and I got soap in eyes so I waited it out.

A costco lasagne tonight. And probably for far longer than we want to eat it.

Off to mail the heart monitor back.

Take care all.
