I've heard nothing but good recommendations from people as varied as my 80 year old parents to my daughter's Jewish 20 something friends.

Good Morning All

Saturday here and had a nice sleep in. Bliss. Its drizzly rain which I hope clears as we have yard work planned for today. I wont be doing any of the heavy stuff - more directing but have shown DH what is required. Also need to vacumn and mop the house, plus do the bathroom and toilets. What a fun agenda huh

Liz - Great news about your daughter :) Some light in darker times :)

Cec - Sorry about your back. Does heat help any? I found when mine spasmed over easter the painkiller combo and heat did the trick. Heal fast my friend

Homemade Pizzas tonight and netflix. My mum hasn****ched a movie in years - any recommendations????

Well I had best go and get dressed into work clothes and start my day

Hope you all have a lovely evening :)

It's been around forever, but my parents loved a Christmas Story when I showed it to them. Another really charming movie for all generations is Second Hand Lions.

We rented Its a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood with Tom Hanks playing Mr. Rogers, last night. I saw it in the theater, and enjoyed it again last night. And the documentary about Mr. Rogers, Won't You be my Neighbor is really lovely. I saw it in a theater that tends to have lots of retirees for patrons, and people around me were sniffling and dabbing their eyes. Very moving story.

My dad's wife has her back go out a lot. She said ice the first few days, then heat. She also said laying on the floor with your feet up on an ottoman can help, but it took forever to get back up! I was like a flipped turtle trying to right myself without excruciating twinges! So glad there was no one to film my flailing about.

I added Advil to the Valium and that really helped a lot. Off to sleep now hoping for a better day tomorrow.

PS, I still have my chair lift recliner from my surgery. I forgot how awesome the standing me up feature was as I haven't needed it for a long time!
