Still feel the same, which is fine because at any time other than a pandemic, what I feel wouldn't be worth mentioning! I texted my doctor. He doesn't think it's Covid but said I could be tested. I think I'll hold off. The test sounds unpleasant.
Not to get too political (I am definitely a centrist who long hasn't felt welcome by either party), but I find this morning's news on the battle between Trump and the governors to be a train wreck I can't turn away from. I'm thinking a certain president didn't listen very well in high school civics class...
Along the lines of Liz's paper towel success, I am so excited to have a delivery of disinfectant spray (the squirt bottle kind, not the aerosol cans) delivered today from Home Depot. Sometimes you have to get creative with your source!
My eating still sucks, but my snack foods that have been getting me in severe waistband trouble are nearly gone. I will endeavor not to replace them.
It's super gorgeous here today. Some backyard time is in order!
Greetings Special People
Thank you thank you OceanDiane for the wonderful assortment of masks! You are such a nurturing person! These are great and I will share a few with needy people. I saw on tv that a coffee filter can be used as an extra filter in a mask.
Just ate a "shelter in place" lunch of a peanut butter sandwich on seeded bread. Makes me want to go take a nap. Napping is my main hobby. DH feeds the dogs all day long and wonders why they don't eat.
Dog Chip is due for a rabies shot. Found out the vet is only doing emergencies, rabies shots and puppy/kitten series. So we have an apt next week. Usually you can just drop in for a shot. Strange times.
Our neighbor lady is moving inland. She will be driving down the road with three dogs, four chickens and koi fish. She is a nice lady and we will miss her but not her dogs which make horrid noise.
Marshmallows are only edible if burnt to a crisp. Did I tell you I have a friend named Marsha Mellow? And that is her married name.
Slowly dealing with paperwork and clearing up the desk. Very slowly. Would rather play on line games.
Today's mission is to go to the drive through pharmacy and pick up a scrip. I have four hours in which to complete this task. Think I can manage?
Ann are you out there? Send a smoke signal.
Beautiful day here and the coast guard is out in their helicopters. Someone in a small plane was making smiley faces and peace signs in the sky.
Hope you feel better Cecily.
DH got one of those Kinda thermometers. Takes your temp, records it in some data base and allows you to see where pockets of people with higher temperatures are. He has also ordered some kind of gadget that will sterilize masks. I have my doubts.
Bonnie the other three kittens should be Chick, Peep and Sunny.

Good Morning All
Just waking up, DH came up to help me let the chooks out - hes made new steps and its much easier too step up and into their pen so I may try and do the let out in the mornings. Not the lock up as thats in the dark and I would be worried about tripping.
Pretty uneventful day yesterday, just work then we went to check my mums house. All is fine over there. It was my DSS partners mums birthday and they cant get across to see her - so I offered to go buy some flowers for them and drop it on her doorstep. Her favourite colour is red like mine. Found a stunning cyclamen plant with red flowers boxed beautifully - wrote a card from them all and dropped it off. I have been still trying to do something kind each day for someone. That was yesterdays.
Today will be work. I finally have a night off cooking. Have asked my mum to cook (shes barely moving so trying to get that to change subtly) - shes making her mince. We will have it with mash. Hoping to be able to plant out the peas and maybe get DH to get a load of soil for the other garden bed so we can get it ready. See how time permits.
Nothing else to report really.I best go start my day
Love to you all

Drinking coffee and getting ready to post early this morning and the day. DH decided to tackle bees and we were -off to the races. We have honey bees that have made a hive inside the framework of our house. Discovered honeycomb in the basement. They've gotten in through broken seal around the ho****er vent down there. I got zapped a good one on the inside of my wrist when a few flew up the cuff of a flannel shirt I had on. It is a good thing we are in a rather rural area and back off the road because I was out of my jacket, shirt, and tee shirt- down to my bra in a nanny-second. My wrist still hurts like a mutha-jumper. Hopefully the infestation is a small one and we got them all out. Had been waiting for a cold day to tackle this- guess it wasn't quite cold enough.
Kurt made chili and spent time at the dog park with Swann while DH picked up bee removal stuff. The farmers all around us are putting anhydrous on the fields, so it's off limits for a bit. We have a few acres around the house, but Swann seems to need more room to roam and while the dog park is not as large he can be off lead in it to run and zoom as he pleases.
I'm calling it for the day- time for tea and, fingers crossed, a good movie. Smiles your way to all beloved.
