I don't envy what you had!! It sounded terrible. I wouldn't even consider that I've could even possibly be that if not for how many people they are finding are asymptomatic. I read Iceland has tested 10% of their population at random and 50% of those had it and had zero symptoms. My friend said no one in her family had the same symptoms. She never had a fever or a cough! I did go ahead and text my doctor just to get his thoughts. I'll see what he says...
Greetings Easter Peeps
Ok take a vote. Do you like or hate Peeps? I hate them. Always did. But I would keep eating them because I somehow thought they would taste better if I just gave it another try. No wonder I got fat. Didn't do that with other foods however. But then, even as a child there was no food I didn't like. Except black licorice. I would gleefully eat brussel spouts and smoked oysters! Born to Eat.
Cecily I hope you feel better. In some ways you would be fortunate to have a mild case of covid but be careful. They say it can start slow and hit you like a truck later. Stay hydrated.
Liz nice you had a dress up ****tail party via zoom. We had a family easter meeting with DH family yesterday. Fun. Young nieces have a new puppy but some of their thoughts on dogs made me cringe. Like spaying at age 4 months. Hopefully a good vet will guide them. Cute pup even if it is a nightmare of a mix. None of us dressed up though some women had make up on. I would like to send them a care package of dog items but the best leashes can be found mainly at dog shows and I don't want to go to the pet store anyway. The mixed pup has some golden retriever so I told them to encourage that instinct so the dog loves it and it can be used to manage behavior later. Not sure if they get the concept. They have a swimming pool and I predict that dog will be in there all the time this summer.
I need to renew my passport but can't go anywhere for pictures. Just as well since I can't get my hair done either and will have to wait.
Put this heart monitor on today. Instructions said to shave my chest!!! Really, do they think I am some hairy guy? I am supposed to push a button if I have any kind of concerning symptoms. Probably nothing will happen.
Today will be day three of the giant enchilada trough. I think it will be the last we eat it regardless of how much is left over.
Bonnie was it you that had the kittens that resurrected? I think you should name them Easter and Bunny. Sweet story.
DH wants to grow snow peas. However, getting some pots and dirt would be a good start.
Stay sane everyone. No escape until mid may at least. Diane S
Yellow peeps are a favorite with me. I don't buy them for myself, ever, but my daughter ordered us Easter candy from Target. Kind of cute that she got us Easter candy instead of vice versa. Anyhow, the peeps seem quite fresh and delicious :) I also looooove black licorice. My Mom used to get me a bag of black licorice only jelly beans. Heaven. There is just no accounting for taste :)
Sweet peas! Awesome idea. They do smell so nice.
I hate peeps too - though I like sweet things it seemed like eating pure sugar. I don't like marshmallows much either EXCEPT when toasted over a fire...

Peeps ALL THE Way, any day, any time, shape color....the staler the better- crunchy, even! Bring 'em on.
Easter and Bunny- great names. What about the other three? The largest (fully twice the size of any two of the others put together, and also the most exotically color patterned, I think I'm going to name Terry-dactal Monstercaticus (after his dad, Copticaticus (who, by the way has been AWOL for the last 5 days- If he doesn't come back, I'm going to be super bummed).
Good Morning All
Little Later today as I started work at 6.30am and had physio at 8am. The good news is my Quads are much better and I am now able to do a backwards full circle on my new exercise bike. Seems so silly to be excited about that but I was. Now to keep it up and get my knee allowing me to do forward circles. Its the small things. 4 weeks today since I had the surgery. Feeling more positive.
Weight 171.6 - up a little but I have been wanting to eat more - goes hand in hand
Not much else to report. Want to try and get some pea seedlings into new veggie patch DH did this afternoon when I finish. I have been cooking lots. Made this cake to use up Plums last night and oh my - it was delicious warm. Sent a piece with my physio when she came this morning. Shes pg and figured it would be a nice treat when she takes her break

Miss150 - loved reading about the kittens. New life is special. They are a little miracle in troubled times :)
Cec - Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Are you going to try and test to see if you have antibodies?
Diane O - good to hear from you. How is your DD fairing. She is in my thoughts often as you all are
Ann - Your voice is missed - sending you a virtual hug from Australia (the safest kind right now)
Diane S - Hoping you continue to feel well. How is your brother fairing? Meant to ask the other day
Peps - Give those beautiful puppies a cuddle for me. They are growing so fast
Liz - Glad you had a nice ****tail party :) Lovely to be able to get dressed up
BB - Loved the Easter pictures. Your girls are just so beautiful and growing up super fast
DD - Snow :) I have never lived in a place that snowed. Its so magical. I guess I look at it in a childlike way - rather than the more practical re the cold etc etc
Leap - Hello - Great Mask pic :)
Paula - Good to see you in your mask also :)
Well I had best keep working - love to you all and as always stay safe
