Oh, Devon. I am so sad for you as you say your goodbye to sweet Ella. I know she is, and will ever be well loved. You can believe it is the same for you-from her, and will be always. Sending you hugs and comfort.

So hard to say goodbye. I read once that the lesson in living is to give unconditional love, and that's why dogs don't live as long as us, they accomplish the mission so much faster.

Greetings Friends

Computer is still squishing all your posts so I have to zoom out which makes it hard to read. So forgive me if I am not responsive to all.

I may have mentioned yesterday we got a text that DH's sister was marrying her terrific boyfriend in their yard yesterday. A socially distanced event. But other sister set it up so we could all watch and participate via Zoom. It was fun. Kids sang a duet, lots of jokes about walking bride down the driveway, nephew stepped in dog poop, train whistle interrupted the vows and birds were singing. But its a grim reminder of our times that they pushed the wedding ahead of original plans.

And the little nieces are getting a puppy. Its a "miniature golden doodle". Peps I can hear you screaming. Me too. But its a done deal. Just hope its not a health mess.

Our dogs are fine. DH fusses over their food. Truth is, they are adapting to inactivity and eating less. What a concept. DH needs to find something to do.

Peps so sorry for you regarding Ella. We all must take responsibility for our beloved pets.

My metabolism has gone into lockdown. No clue what I weigh but I am sure its not less.

This is really starting to suck. But hey we binge watched Ozark. Love the show and the lake views. Ending is awesome!

I have a few bandanas that are in the charity box i may rescue.

Good Morning All

Little late today as I just had physio. She managed to get my knee bend to 100 degrees briefly and is happy with my progress. Another session on Friday. Next we start once a week sessions

Spoke to my GP (PCP) on the phone last night, DH is taking mum and I to the surgery around 11am today. She has written up a script for Flu shots of which he will fill at the pharmacy. She is then going to give it to us all in our car so we dont have to go into the surgery. She is a total gem.

My Mum moved in last night and is settling well. We will all get into a routine for what will be our new normal over the coming week. My eldest son left to go to his fathers house. He will stay there with him until this is over. Was tough to hug him goodbye. He is my rock and I will miss him so much.

Weight 169.62 - drop from yesterday - still lots of swelling

DH dropped off a dozen eggs plus 2 serves of the meatballs in homemade tomato sauce he made to our new neighbours. She is a nurse in one of the local hospitals emergency departments. We wanted to help out a little as no doubt she will be exhausted. We have also left a note with our mobile numbers at another neighbours down the road, hes in his 70's and on his own. I know he doesnt cook so we will likely send a few meals down. We are very well stocked so happy to share. My physio left this morning with a jar of chutney too. In this time of turmoil, it feels nice to be able to show kindness to others. Im choosing to focus on that.

Liz - Safe trip home for your DD and a big hug for you. I can relate this am x

Diane O - You are a true angel with all the sewing you are doing. I wish you could braid your DD's hair too x

Ann - You are looking amazing ! Stunning

BB- Your family are very lucky to have you cooking such yummy meals for them

DD - Hope your mums apt goes well today

Miss - Good to hear your voice. Asparagus yum ! We often wrap it in pruscutto and pan fry it in a little olive oil - my kinda delicious. Trees are beautiful

Peps - The biggest long distance hug to you and Ron today. Such a hard choice to make but she will be thankful you helped eased her discomfort. You are in my thoughts xxxx

Diane S - Good to hear from you too X

I best get myself ready for the flu shot - as Leap says More later

Love to you all

S
