Good Morning,
Popping in after a restless nights sleep. I was chatting online with DSS partner, they got 2 rabbits and didnt realise one is a male. Had them 2 weeks. They came from a bad home so she has had the male at the vet to be treated for an abscess before they book him in for desexing. Well too late..... The female had 2 babies last night. I was helping her via messenger with stuff.- Priority one was seperating the male though she is likely pregnant again already. That saying "breeding like rabbits is soooo true" It really hit home how much I miss seeing them and how much the boys are growing up while this is all happening. Dont get me wrong, I am truely thankful that all our family is very safe and healthy but gosh do I miss our eldest Grandson opening the door every Tuesday and giving me the biggest cuddle or watching the youngest face light up when I call his name. Have downloaded Zoom and will schedule a video call maybe tommorrow. It will help. Need to pull myself out of this!
My mum moves in this afternoon for however long that is needed. It will be good to have her here with us and be able to take care of her. We will sit and plan meals together. DH made an amazing meatball in tomato sauce with pasta last night. Im lucky he is a great cook. DH company emailed last night to advise they want all staff to have a flu shot immediately and a booster in July. They are covering the cost of both for all household members. This is a bonus as we had intended getting this organised for my mum once she got here.
Weight - bouncing around the same each day 171.38
Knee is healing pretty well. The staple removal issues meant that the wound opening up at the bottom - its been steri stripped and covered. Im crossing fingers it heals ok and isnt an ugly scar. The top is great. I made it through virtual the whole day with a 12 hr slow release painkiller and 2 lots of paracetamol which is a first. My head felt a lot clearer so thats a good thing
Stay safe beautiful tribe. You are all in my thoughts lots xxxx

Greetings All
OH and my computer are still acting up. I wrote to their Help desk but to no avail. Still all the posts are appearing crammed to one side and superimposed on each other. I have tried the view and window buttons. Oh well. So forgive me if I seem unresponsive - chances are I can't see your post.
Little news here. Its raining. I was just about to go out and forage for half and half and coffee. DH is napping and I have been doing a lot of that too. Just ate some Hershy kisses. Makes me feel sick. The gloominess of all this is setting in. We are running out of shows to binge watch. I have broken the channel change button on the bedroom tv remote by switching from CNN to MSNBC back and forth.
But we are healthy and safe. Learned today that DH little sister is marrying her wonderful boyfriend in an outside ceremony today. They had planned to wait until daughter finished college but decided to move forward - part due to insurance and medical power issues presented by the virus. He works as a repairer of medical equipment so bet he is busy these days. Don't envy his work environment.
I may have mentioned we have a small supply (10) of the n95 masks, having sent half to sick brother. There is a website - i think its signs.net - that tells how to sanitize these masks. Do not get them wet or use cleaner. Best to let them just sit out of sunlight for 4 days and the virus can't survive. They can also be hung in a 150 degree oven for 30 min but must not touch the metal racks - said to use a wooden clothes pin to hold ear loops to hang the masks. Hope this helps someone.
Shame on the creepy hoarding doctors.
Well I think I will order a Harry and David package as wedding gift to SIL. They don't need any toasters. Diane S
Diane, I know your computer issues are a hassle, but I miss you when you don't chime in. Love hearing your voice.
I swear ... exercise really does help. Even a little of it. I can feel the difference here when I get up and move.

My Facebook memories is showing me some awesome spring break trips of years gone by, Brazil being my favorite. Sometimes it makes me sad, but today the sun is shining, and I'm about to go for a walk with my husband and daughter, and then get Chinese take out for dinner. So I'll choose content for today's mood, content with good memories, good company, good food, and hopes for things being better again one day.
