Eating problems mostly at night. Seems like I get up to pee an have get something to eat. Compulsive behavior. French toast at 2am. Maybe if I was more awake I would have more will power.

We have been helping DD out with Adalyn. She gets here at 9 and we keep her til noon. Adalyn is a handful. We have a routine. Check the chicken coup for an egg. Take a ride in the truck. Walk to see the daffodils. Playdough, coloring and playing ball. She will play with her toys by herself some. When we come inside there is a meltdown. When plans change there is a meltdown. Today I was getting the last of our belongings out of the Airstream. I was not paying enough attention to her and she had a complete come apart until I scooped her up. It gives DD a break to get some things done and studying.

I have been cutting a few boards on the days that are nice. I did get 2 logs from the creek. 5 or 6 more to get from the same logjam spot.

A guy came from Dallas to look at our Airstream. Big talker. We kept our distance. I sprayed everything he touched with alcohol. He wants it. He has one more to look at before he decides. I was more concerned about him contaminating my environment than I was selling the trailer.

We have electronic issues with the ac unit in the shop. Had a service tech come check it out. It is covered by warranty. Yea! Sprayed everything he touched with alcohol. For being in the middle of hundreds of acres it seem there was too much encroachment on my personal space today. Also got 2 loads of gravel for the drive and the tiny house build. He just dumped it and left. No space invasion. I gave him a check but that was his worry not mine.

From what I have read in the past couple of days the virus can live for 90 min on cardboard. 12 days on Formica. 90 seconds if sprayed with alcohol. I spray all my packages with alcohol. Bought a half gallon of everclear. I will dilute as needed.

I?ve been hitting all my groceries that have packaging with Lysol (eg not veggies). No self-respecting waterfall smells as bad as Spring Waterfall Lysol!

Out of curiosity, what did a gallon of Everclear cost?

Thanks for the virus life span info.

BTW, I'm imagining that the value of my house and property here in the Ozarks is going up while I type this. With mortgage rates nearing nada, I might find some rich city folks with cash who would like to experience a "Green Acres" quarantining prepper lifestyle.

Just sayin'.

I think it was $35 for half gallon. 95 percent alcohol by vol. So you could add about a quart of water and it would be over 65 percent by vol. Or spray it straight for ease of mind.

The Formica example referred to as all hard surfaces except for copper. It seems in cleaning the cruise ships there was still live virus after 2 weeks. Eeww. UV light kills most virus but I cannot find data on covid. I saw some smuggled video from China where they were fogging the entire area between buildings (building fronts, street, sidewalk, cars) with white fog from tanker trucks. I wondered if this was an alcohol solution. eco friendly.

Weight 195 (carb swelling and too many calories)

Had to hit the grocery store today to pick up a few things my friend with now 3 virus sick family members needed before her grocery delivery arrives on Tuesday. My post-grocery routine is so involved! It's hard to think of all the ways a virus could hitch its way into my house! Wiping and spraying all the items before putting away, wiping down my purse handle/bottom, wallet, card, phone, doorknobs, door handle, removing shoes, throwing my bags in the washer, plus I spilled half a Diet Coke in my lap during my trip and had to clean that up and change clothes. I showered just for good measure. FYI, she said no one feels horrible, just fevery and coughs for now.

I think I'm going to stop carrying a purse for now. A credit card, my license, phone and a car key are all I really need for an errand.

I sat outside for a little bit. I do think sunshine makes such a difference in my well-being.

That's all I've got!

I use a small cross body bag when I'm out. I put it on, never take it off, it touches nothing. I'm also free to walk away from the cart etc without worrying about my wallet, it comes with me. Always know where my purse is when I'm checking out and putting my groceries in the car. It's very freeing.

Me too, Debbie. And I put only the credit cards/IDs in it that I'll need. Nothing else goes in it.

Then I come home, sanitize all the cards, and leave the crossbody hanging on the front porch with nothing in it.

We're probably overdoing some of this, but this is not the time to under-do stuff.
