Weight? I probably should get back on the scale.
I have my therapy appt in an hour via Zoom, so I must go shower and clean up so I look more sane and less homeless. It's a gorgeous day here. I must say, shutting everything down makes for incredible air quality and clarity.
After therapy I shall clean, because to day would have been cleaning people day and it needs it. And in between I'll keep knitting because I love the way my scarf is turning out!
This morning I talked to my hypochondriac friend (my bff with the fridge in the bathroom) and it's so hard not to roll my eyes! He said he thinks he had it last week because he had a fever (99 for a day is not a fever). But no doubt he'll think he has it many times over the next months. I just have to be kind. But it's irritating and he just gets mad when I offer any alternative explanations. Argh.
Anyway, I've been shoveling carbs in like there's no tomorrow (heh). I read an article about stress and anxiety and carb cravings for the serotonin hit and soothing it brings. Yep, that's me. Glad so many of you are not having the same problem!
Our county is going to finally start giving the counts by city. As a county of 3 million where a change in city means going through a stop light, I'm not sure how illuminating it'll be, but I like data. Apparently as of yesterday we had 187 cases in the county and 22 in my city of just under 300,000. But less than 1% of the county has been tested, so *****ally knows. Only one death so far.
ooh, need to go shower. Have a good day all!
Greetings all
Wow, for people essentially in quarantine we sure are doing a lot. Me not so much but then I don't have toddlers or puppies. I am going out in a bit for an echo cardiogram. Ordered awhile back when I had those spells which have not returned. I think I am among the walking well. Looks like cardiology place has cancellations so I don't feel too much at risk. Also must grab some Skinny Pop. And tooth paste.
BB so sorry about your SIL. Its never a good time to have a serious illness but especially now. We have all faced this stuff and at least here we can do it together. The pen ****eyboard) is indeed mightier than the sword.
Still fiddling with the numbers on the studio. Hard to factor in the government relief packages as they are still underway. Some of our staff are students or fresh grads who live on shoe strings. I sure hope they get $1200 checks.
Must remember to take my own pen to this doctor office. Have never been there before and don't want to touch theirs - the ones with big plastic flowers on them. No doubt I will have to fill out a lot of crap.
Ocean Diane I am so proud of you for making those masks. I will check the store for elastic though I am not betting on it. Our local hospital has announced they will accept home made masks. And we only have 5 confirmed cases in the whole county, arriving by plane.
At least its sunny and lovely here. No I do not have a hot tub at home - just the gym one which is closed.
Neighbor lady has chickens in her back yard and she brought us eggs. She is moving away but told us she is giving her giant collection of holiday decorations to the people across the street. So we will still hear the cackling witches!
More later if I think of anything exciting but don't count on it.

Morning, Quick check in before the Physio arrives at 8am. Had a very rough night which was ALL my fault! I had a lovely 2.5 hour nap yesterday afternoon and then we had a cuppa and nibbles on the front deck in the sun. It felt lovely after being cooped up in the house. I decided that I would trim back the Diaetes Grasses along the carport as they are at standing height. DS helped me but I was standing for well over an hour with a couple of few minute rests leaning on the uprights. I then went on to make dinner - nothing fancy - oven baked fish and sweet potato wedges (both from a packet in freezer) Sat down to make a green salad. We ate then I did the dishes as DH worked till nearly 8pm to finish glueing the kitchen tiles. Well you guessed it - I was up till around 3am when I could finally bring the aching and pain under control. I take the stupidity award for the week - and wont be doing that again anytime soon. Lesson learnt!
Weight 171.6 - up go figure - Im swollen up
I will pop back again later - best go and brush my teeth so Im respectable
Love to you all

Shirl, seriously ... you really do need therapy. We all do, of course. But your "principles" are seriously conflicting with the necessity to care for yourself.
I really am going to have to come over there and take charge, aren't I?
