Gosh, that sounds great! The hike, the Italian night, and Irish night.

Y'all are lucky to be snuggled up together.

Love "staff dining room." ;)

Popping in way late.....

Been a hectic day - I have a confession to make ..... I started back at work yesterday Before I get told off let me explain. I had a text from my boss whilst in hospital and we ended up having a conversation. Since then I have been watching the work emails and its safe to say its insane atm as with many places. I have known my boss and his wife for over 21 years (worked for them 13 of those years) and I have never heard him sound so stressed. They are like family. He has a huge load at the moment. Me away, all the chaos of trying to source hardware and assist clients to move staff home, he just sold his home and has to move in 3-4 weeks, his father went into aged care on Monday and his mother follows in 3 or so weeks. Thats one heck of a load! What little hes done of my job hes royally buggared up so it was time to come back and do my bit. Its on my terms. I will do mornings when I tend to feel fresher and only for as long as I feel I can. I managed a week off and it was nice while it lasted but being in a team of 3 you have to just step up when required - and thats now

I also started in home Physio today. Shes very happy with me - Im at 80 degrees and doing well. She thinks I will make 90-95 by the time she sees me on Friday again. Im not far off changing from 2 crutches to 1 crutch. This was really nice to hear. As I didnt exercise the day I came home from hospital and boy did I go backwards at an alarming rate. Its like the joint forgets it can move and just seizes.

We have had more business closures overnight - its so distressing to see so many loosing their livelyhood. I am working on getting my mum to make a list of everything she will need if she needs to move in with us due to full lockdown. Sadly I think its only a matter of when not if. As I cant be there to do it for her, she needs to be organised and have a full understanding DH or DS cant go back to get stuff if shes forgotten it. Shes struggling with that concept but I think we finally got there today. I feel a bit harsh but I need her to have all the things that make her comfortable and happy around her for whatever period of time it takes for this virus to play its very scary and ugly tune

Weight 170.72 - continuing down so not complaining. I am definately eating less due to pain but seem to be wanting to snack more.

Thats about it for me. Im feeling wiped this afternoon. I managed to pop outside for some fresh air and trim back some of the nandinas that line the deck - baby steps but it was lovely to be doing something. DH is tiling the new kitchen and soon we will have dinner. Followed by a shower for me and curl up in my nice warm bed to watch some more netflix. I started watching Self Made series last night. Its good.

Love to you all x

Not about to argue with you from 9,000 miles away. But good grief! And good luck!

Good luck Shirl. As always your wonderful is always thinking about everyone else, but make sure you take care of yourself along the way. Think of it this way: everyone needs you to be healthy!
