Thanks. I didn't get that.

Diane O., this should put your mind at ease: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/not-helpful-fauci-calls- out-media-for-pitting-him-against-trump/
BB - Ron was such a happy fellow last night having stroganoff for dinner. It was good. However, given the lack of proper ingredients I had to make due with using ground beef and farfalle pasta instead of egg noodles. It was still good, though.
OMG! I'm down in the 264s! What the Hell???? Got to love this focus on habits rather than on food. Maybe, just maybe I can get this eating disorder thing under control and get back to a healthy, happy and sustainable weight. Feeling hopeful, for sure.
I slept nine hours last night. I also slugged Ron in the middle of the night. I had a dream and yes, it's going to sound weird..... as we turned back to give the camel driver his food he was flopped backwards dead over the camel's back while his assassin was wiping poison on his arm. The main evil boss lady, who looked like Linda Hunt, walked over to where I was with other people (who are now nameless and faceless in my memory) and to stop her I tried something and when that didn't work I hauled off and tried to hit her in the head with the unknown heavy object in my hand. Given Ron's reaction of, "Hey, honey... what's going on... stop that.." I'm pretty sure I slugged the crap out of him. Oops! Being half awake I went back to sleep, but I must ask him if I did indeed wallop him one.
It is a gray day here. I don't think we'll get much rain, just gloomy clouds.
I pulled out a book the other day to read and I haven't started. I really should. I have the time and freedom to read, so I must make a point of it. I am only working for about 2 hours today. I spent hours working yesterday, so it's okay to have an "easy" day today. Technically, all we are required to do this week is contact families twice via a group email and check our emails 3 times daily. Tomorrow I have already scheduled FaceTime calls with several kids and parents. I'm looking forward to those check ins.
Dottie ha**** the independent stage of nursing. It's now on her terms. 10 minutes ago she didn't want to nurse, but wanted to go outside. Now she's standing at the bedroom door waiting to be let in. LOL! Moms!
Baby Dinah is turning into a Daddy's Girl first class. Of course, I find that 100% charming and endearing.
Tonight I think it will be whole wheat spaghetti with a garlic marinara with grilled chicken breast and salad. Have to admit, this little taste of retirement is tantalizing!
You're gonna LOVE retirement!
I'm really thrilled about how well your focus on habits is working for you! So tickled that you found that good therapist.
xoxo

My pants were tight today. I think my reasoning that skinny people won't survive the famine is not helping the pants sitch.
I got up and showered and did all sorts of beauty stuff today. Legs shaved, bod loofa'ed, hair deep conditioned, teeth whitened, face scrub used...
One of my cousins has set up a Zoom (online video meeting tool) ****tail hour with our cousin/spouse cruise crew. I can't wait. We already have one agenda item: David's husband would like to discuss his alarmingly dark shelter-in-place self-tanner usage. Love these people! I think I have a cheap polyester lei I can dig out to wear. Maybe borrow a hibiscus flower for my hair from the neighbor's bush. Make it fun.
Hives update, the daily Zyrtec totally works. 3 days with not a hive in sight!
I think that's all I know... Take care everyone
I love this!!! A zoom ****tail hour! Because the WW meeting went so well I could see doing this!

LOL! Love it! Yeah, WW ... maybe not such a great example.
I hope it works for you, Ceci. I would bet a major diff between Ceci's Zoom call is that the person setting it up uses Zoom at work a lot and knows Zoom like I know PowerPoint (yes, she said, blushing ... PowerPoint).
My besties and I are trying a Zoom ****tail party on Thursday -- ****tails at 5 Eastern in Brussels, DC, New Hampshire, the Ozarks, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, and Vashon Island off of Seattle. I plan to make gin martinis using the recipe and the glass from Harry's Bar in Venice. Wonder if I should bring food, too?

Weight: 133.4

Macronutrients: Cals - 2,345, Carbs - 263, Fats - 79, Proteins - 127, Fiber - 42

Exercise: 7,650 steps (used the walker only about 50% of the time yesterday; took only one pain pill in 24-hour period)
And in other news ....
I found it! Found my post-surgical bottom weight and even bounced a little. It only took eating 2,350 calories in one day to get there. LOL! Don't need to keep that up.
Had a great phone follow-up consultation call this morning with my surgeon's P.A. She agrees I'm doing very well and that my sutures are healing just fine. I have specific recovery instructions for Week Two: OK to go back to my old shampoo and conditioner (praise the Lord!), stop putting Polysporin cream on sutures and instead use Pro-Sil silicone scar treatment cream twice a day, wear my tight mummy head bandage at least 12 hours a day, take the rest of my muscle relaxant and pain meds (if I need them), continue to NOT take Vitamin E and other blood-thinner supps and meds, use ice packs for swelling PRN or wanted (to soothe). Plus don't hurt myself, keep healing, and stay in touch via email, pix, phone calls as needed. Oh, and I can keep using skin care (yea!). And I can start playing with makeup if I want (I'll wait 'til more swelling goes down and the nasty purple bruise under my right eye has faded).
Other than that, it's been lovely, quiet day here. My garbage man came, and we visited 40 feet apart. His dad and mom are my nearest neighbors. He says they're fine. I told him to tell them I'm fine.

Greetings Survivors
I went out and about today a bit. Had to pick up payroll and sign checks for studio. The bookkeeper watched for me and came out side to my car but then stood there blabbing at me. Go away! We have a board meeting tomorrow for the studio to plan what to do. The county business bureau is taking surveys to figure out how much loss businesses are having. Our landlords are working with us so we should be able to survive a few months. But president voldemort is taking about reopening everything by Easter which is fool hardy. Lets hope that does not happen.
Diane I so love you! Making masks. I am going to search my meager sewing supplies for elastic. A few bandanas too.
But I just learned one hard lesson - the post office won't let you take a box and put a bunch of stamps on it and dump it in the mail. For security reasons it has to be presented at the counter. So the box of masks to my brother got returned and I had to go to the germy post office. Not too busy though. On the way out I have a few $$ to a panhandler standing in the rain with two dogs. Felt sorry for them. Quick stop at a small grocery for hamburger, wine and a chicken pot pie.
I am so ignoring weight its ridiculous. I was trying to fix something on the dryer and was down on the floor. I could not get up without help from DH. I really must strengthen my legs. I do squats at the gallery but have not been there. I just want to curl up in bed and eat chocolate.
Ann thanks for the view of deer. We sometimes see them on our street. Also horses and goats. Its like living in green acres.
The dogs are doing admirably at sheltering in place. They have taken over an old down comforter and made it their fort.
Thats it from this zip code. Beaches are now closed. A brand new bar just opened a month ago - the Bigfoot Tap Room. I feel sorry for them as our town could use a cute bar and they must be in a bad way.
Cheers. Diane S
We stayed at home until after lunch so our daughter had some companionship in the staff dining area when she took her break. After lunch, DH and I drove to a State park and went on a hike, a 4.4 mile loop on an island. The island, Pike Island, is shaped somewhat like an arrowhead, and at the tip, the Mississippi and Minnesota river converge. I like this spot, it has a very positive energy.
We ordered take out pizza, and opened a bottle of prosecco. The plan is to watch some new series about a pope, can't remember the name on Netflix. We're calling it, Italian night. We love a theme. Tomorrow DD is making potato soup for dinner, and I'm making porridge for breakfast, DH is picking out an Irish themed movie for Irish Night. That's all the theming I have so far.
