Devon, I have a friend in NYC who's 44 and now on a ventilator in hospital. He's fit as an ox, gay, married, with a young child.
I know 3 other people who are confirmed CO-19 cases recovering at home.

Greetings All
Another day in quarantine. Just listened to PM Boris Johnson who actually made a sensible and inspiring announcement. I think I will send him a complementary hair brush.
So my brother had an infusion today. I may have mentioned he was down to one face mask so I sent him 10 that we had. He is grateful as his immune system is shot.
Diane O you are so cool to make masks. Its so heartening to see people do stuff like this. I wish I could do so but my sewing machine is messed up as well as my fingers. If I can find any elastic I will send it. Hmmm, I have a bag of clean underpants that I outgrew. I could cut the elastic off of them. Would old clean nylons work? Horrifying that I am thinking this way.
BB gl with the potty training. Hope it goes well. I have no kids but it seems like they are ready when they are ready. I remember my mother telling me it had to do with a child's language skills and understanding what is expected.
And speaking of diapers, I must get one before I watch the video Ann posted that will make me wet my pants.
Lucky Peps, you get to shelter in place with puppies. Hey Peps, Tesla got a normal on her SLEMS test. (a genetic condition that exists in some border terriers which must be excluded before any breeding).
DD so sorry for your mom's back. Good thing you have some drugs on hand. How awful to be in pain and afraid to go to hospital.
Liz good on you for looking at pictures. You and Justice look so adorable on FB.
I have really been craving comfort food. Thinking of making goulash which we had often when I was a kid. Guess I could make it with a small amount of chick pea noodles. Beans burger onion noodles tomato sauce.
Well back to my obsessive on line scrabble playing. No live scrabble for awhile.
Don't forget to wash the cloth bags you take to the grocery.
Cheers. Diane S
Good Morning, cool one here, we have the fireplace going. I was awake with knee and ankle pain from around 1.30am. Was able to sleep once I got it back under control but not fun. I upped my pain meds to the higher dose overnight & have told DH that Im driving the train in relation to what my pain needs are! Hes coping reasonably well but as I expected is overwhelmed. I have been up on my walks around the house and try to do what I can but cant stand for long periods. I waited till after dinner to ask for help with a shower- bad idea as he was cranky my then and just wanted to argue. Stupid things like why did I have to have a plastic covering over my bandage as its waterproof- well cause I was told too by the hospital! I ended up a bit teary from it all and went to bed. Hears hoping today is better ?
Weight is 171.16. -down from yesterday
Liz You are such a beautiful and strong person. Glad your DD is there with you
Ann You sound like you are turning the corner a little. Wonderful to hear
BB Good luck with the toilet training. I just helped with my eldest grandsons. It takes a while but is a lot easier once it clicks. Sending you patience & virtual washing powder
Diane O so proud of you for sewing the masks. You are such a selfless person. Not only are you nursing DH - you find time to help others x
Cec Sorry the meals on wheels thing didnt work out. They would have loved you. You too have a super kind heart. Think the drive is a good idea to shake off some of the cabin fever
Peps You sound like you had a good day. Your students are lucky to have such a caring teacher. Loved the pics of Mumma and gorgeous roly poly puppies. That was pure contentment
DD Sorry to hear about your mum. I hope the hospital can give her some relief quickly. Loving reading about you having your DD home. You are a special mum x
Diane S Hope the infusion helps your brother feel a bit better. Thinking of you all
Miss150, Paula, Leap and anyone else Ive missed. Sending you a long distance (virus free) Aussie Hug x Sorry also if I havent listed someone- bit fuzzy
I had best go call my mum and see how her night went. Also need to call my hospital roomie and see how her skin graph went. We really clicked while sharing a room. She cried when I left. Plan to stay in touch with her & visit once this horrible period passes. We had a lot in common- outdoors, gardening, making chutneys etc. Shes my mums age and both her kids live interstate. Such a gentle soul.
Love to you all- stay safe & healthy

My Mom is home from the ER. They gave her super duper painkillers. My sil, who is a CNA who does homecare, didn't think her previous medication was sufficient. My brother called my Mom after she got home and said she was kind of out of it, but not in an alarming way. We both agree that's good, because may be she will finally be able to sleep. Nothing's going to get better without some actual sleep.
My daughter and I had lunch together, green salad with strawberries, brie and poppyseed dressing and biscuits. I told her it might not continue at this level once I'm "back at work".
I cleaned in my bedroom, got dinner started, sat on the porch in the sun with a blanket and a cup of hot tea while it cooked, served dinner, cleaned up the kitchen, and now getting ready to sit in the hot tub for a bit. I have a feeling that this will be many of my days on repeat.
It's amazing how many little tasks there are to do, and how everything is taking longer to get accomplished than I thought it would. My daughter asked me what timeline I thought I needed to follow. Yes, breath, there will be time tomorrow. And no doubt, the day after that.
