I here!
OMG! I slept and slept and slept. I have no idea what prompted such a long sleep, but kid you not, after getting up to let dogs out shortly after 7, I went back to bed and slept on and off until just after 11 am! Interesting dreams, too boot!
Second day in the 265s so I'm calling it. I'm down 9 pound since my eating disorder flare up a few weeks ago. I love that I have not "dieted" to lose any of this weight. I am hoping to maintain this trajectory and also continue to make more and more sustainable changes so that the weight stays off this time. I feel very comfortable with knowing I have an eating disorder. 5 years ago I would not have been able to acknowledge it with any level of comfort. As a matter of fact, I'm sure I was in full denial of having an eating disorder 5 years ago.
I am feeling housebound. That's okay because I am housebound. There are many things I could do, but I'm suffering from mental malaise today so being project oriented is not resonating strongly.
Blepharitis is rearing its ugly head, too. Wonder if it can get worse during times of stress or times of illness? I still have the straggles of this damned cold. Today marks 3 weeks of the first symptom. I guessing that I will start to lose the nagging hack in the next few days and by day 28 I shall be back to my old healthy self. My doc says that significant cold takes a minimum of 28 days to fully resolve. He's a good doc, so I tend to believe him. Anyhow, hope to get the eye thing under control ASAP. It's unpleasant to have goopy, red eyes that have itchy rims....
Well, I'm sure I could go on and on, but I must force myself to get a little bit done around here.... Perhaps I can dust again, or continue working on my home office which will need to be set up for remote learning by April 6th. I will go back to school on Wednesday for my designated hour to get my teaching "stuff" and then go back home. I'm excited to have something to get in the car and go do. LOL! By then it will be day 10 or 11 of Social Hermitage!
So great that your therapy is helping you! Your body must need that rest - maybe it will help clear up the blepharitis more quickly.
