I'm thinking about ordering some seeds and starting a few plants. Cosmos are pretty indestructible, although they do need sun. You could order begonia bulbs, they flower pretty fast when you put them in a pot, and do well in shade. I usually plant about 100 little impatient bedding plants. They are difficult to grow from seed. Hope I'll be able to get some this spring. If not, I'll cope.

DD, you have me thinking seriously now about becoming a real gardener again. Watching little seeds grow into big, tall flowers ... simple joy.

Weight - didn't

It's a beautiful day out today. I walked Ferg (Why do dogs love to eat bunny poop?! So disgusting), ate my lunch outside, and am considering starting a project. It's more fun to plan lists of projects than do the items on them. I have my knitting, my clivias need dividing (never done that - should I wait until they finish flowering?), I could pull out my painting stuff, There are books to read, I could clean out a closet, have a living room dance party of one, or go for a drive. But here I si****ching tv. Hmm.

I'm enjoying the Calm app for meditation. It also has calming music or nature sounds and bedtime stories read by the most soothing voice actors I've ever heard.

I should be doing yoga to a YouTube video. I have been reading all day... Good thing we have dogs to make us do something.

We do have a planned project for next week to take down and scrub all the blinds and wash windows. It will pass the time but I wish we could go swimming...

Having a dog definitely keeps me from staying in bed all day!

ooh, washing windows is a good list item.

I'm still mad about your pool. Seems like they could have a schedule or something where people could sign up and allow for social distancing. Even if was 1 person at a time, you could get a 29-30 minute window to exercise. Take out all the lounges, chairs etc. Walk in, swim, leave. It's chlorinated water!

As long as you took a pass on the bunny poop, all is well.

Just want to say that when y'all aren't being vulnerable, tender, and mushy ... you're really funny people!

It just occurred to me, no more pedicures either! Well lucky I had WLS, or there would be no hope of painting my toenails. Even so, I'm not real good at it. But, as I remind myself again, it's not like anybody is going to see my feet in sandals anytime soon.
