Sunday, March 1
Surprise, Surprise! We came early.... and with very little warning! Still waiting for the last few to arrive.... Maybe just last one... Haven't checked yet. Such a wonderful mood restorer - The arrival of new pups.
Dottie is a really great whelped, too! I've whelped a lot of litters, and I am duly impressed by her.
Oh, the first one arrived in the car on the way to the ER.... Since she didn't need any help after all, we came back home and she's had five more.
Oh my goodness! I had just posted a start to the thread but then saw that you were up and had a feeling the puppies might have arrived (I deleted my post). Congratulations!!! They all look healthy?
Weight 127, WW blue points 15. Non-dehydrated weight is right where I though it would be.
March is already here! In New England March is still a winter month, but it should get consistently warmer through the month here in Florida. When I walked Justice at 5:45 am it was 40 degrees!
I left SIL at the airport 1/2 hour ago. I told my other SIL on the Massachusetts side about this SIL's weird fall yesterday. Though she says she only has a sore knee now it was very strange, especially since afterwards she went back to bed for the entire morning. If she wasn't a regular drinker I might think it was the aftermath of too much alcohol ingestion, but she didn't have any more than usual. If this does happen periodically at home then she really does need to cut down (not that there aren't other good reasons).
My friend arrives at 2 (same plane after dropping off and picking up passengers in Providence RI). It should be mid-seventies by then. I expect I will take him somewhere to get lunch probably on the water. Should be an interesting few days.
Until I have to go to the airport I am doing laundry and some minimal cleanup but that's it for the day.
Happy March 1st!

- Saturday's Insights: Keeping my head in the game is crucial. I will identify more things that work for me to more effectively/efficiently expedite that process (beyond activity, music and journaling) and I will work to habituate methods I have identified.
I am keeping Saturday's insight until I can journal on it and find a place to unpack and work through this complex intention. For me, naming it and putting it out there is more than half the battle, and helps me get moving. Journaling, reflecting, discussing, honing makes the habituation possible. I am so grateful to all of you for this safe place to share. Heading off to the YMCA in a bit.
Peps and Dottie... congratulations on the additions to the family !! It is a good thing she wasn't back under the deck in her hole ! Liz, have a great visit. Relax and enjoy !

VERY fast post this morning, as I'm hopping around trying to get off to The Big City for my pre-COVID-19 quarantine outing. (Not kidding very much about that, by the way.)
Weight was 137.6 or 137.4 ... can't remember which, so the scales have gone the right way, finally.
Peps, the babies are gorgeous! Liz, have a wonderful, wonderful week with your friend. And yes, I'm sure it will feel different than your life has been for a long time. Paula does look great, but jeez ... I'm so sorry they came down with such awful colds on their honeymoon.
DianeO, I look forward to hearing your thoughts when you have time to organize them for yourself and for us. Working through new stuff takes a while for me, too. And then things change all over again. I love it!
Ya'll have a stupendous Sunday, wherever you are, whatever your weather, and no matter what the stupid scale said this morning. The whole point of BEING ALIVE is what we do AFTER we climb down off the scale.
xoxoxo

PUPDATE.....
Dottie is in surgery. Puppy #8 thought it would be cute to put her paws up underneath her chin. Her cute pose has made it impossible for her to be born naturally. Apparently there is also a pup #9 in there.
I'm not too worried about Dottie, but I sure am worried about the babies. Please pull for them. However it is you do that!
