I guess I've been somewhat in absentia of late. I've been reading posts pretty much daily though. Just not feeling inclined to post. I thought I should at least check in and let you know I'm well. Feelings are a jumble lately. Working on "it".
Guess some of you saw the video of my 10x10 pop up gone with the wind yesterday. The wind kept up until late evening. It's picking up again this morning.
Down to three pups. One more leaves tonight. Last one to go will leave on Sunday, 2/16. Dottie is due on 3/5 so we will get a few weeks rest in between litters. In late December I was all for this back to back litter idea. Now, not so much! LOL! I am happy Dottie will have a smaller litter. 7 will be plenty.
Sounds like everyone is doing well and that is happy news, indeed!
I would think it is still a lot of work with 7!

Super quick pop in - final pack up completed on old kitchen - kettle is set up on table so I can still have a cuppa - super important.
Another late night running around getting organised after taking my mum shopping. Happy to say the upright freezer is now defrosted also - was long overdue! Builders should arrive within the next hour to start. Here are some pictures of the outgoing kitchen and the bain of my life - the white tiles with the pink and grey swirl which show every speck of dirt or fur. I certainly wont miss them at all! Parts of the old kitchen will be re-used in DH workshop up at the farm so thats a good final resting place I think.
Hoping I will be able to work effectively during the renovation. Taking business calls could be a little interesting as they jack hammer the tiles up etc - time will tell.
Will pop back later - I best go get some breakfast so Im out of the way when they come
Oh and dont you love the "IT Savy" Internet setup - popped on a bar stool out of the way - resting on a cutting board. Very technical indeed - ha ha ha - we work with the tools we have :)
S
Can't wait to see the new kitchen!

I had a very nice weekend. DH and I went out to dinner ahead of our play, and I ordered an appetizer, breaded cheese ravioli, and they were so rich I could only eat about a third of it. Saved me from the huge temptation to order dessert, and I was full the whole evening.
Twelveth Night was delightful, playful and hilarious. I've never seen it staged before, only read it for a class. Shakespeare is great poetry to read, but it really needs to be spoken for the full effect.
Today, still not enough time to get it all done. I was going to stay late and knock off a bunch of work when I remembered I had the 2nd appointment for my root canal. &$:@, I was really looking forward to putting a few things in the done pile.Tommorow I have a meeting right after students leave (and one before school), but if the after school meeting doesn't run too long (or exhaust me), maybe I can stay late tomorrow. Well, it was a very nice weekend. I'll keep that in mind.
