And the scales went back down.

In fact, yesterday morning WW's scales said I'd lost 0.4 pounds in the past week. I am quite happy about that result after last week's Super Bowl party, two birthday parties, a book club dinner, poker night, and two restaurant luncheons. BTW, that's a total of 6.6 pounds lost in 5 weeks.

This is not my first regain-loss rodeo, but I'll go out on a limb and say that WW is helping me to eat a greater variety of foods, to tolerate food environments that could trigger cravings, grazing and binging, and to improve my cooking skills. Lately, I'm even eating nuts!

The weather here these last few days has been quite cold with snow on the ground, but this morning there's a full moon high in a clear sky. It's beautiful out there! I'm so enjoying the restoration of winter. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful out here in the country. Did I mention there's no mowing?

You'd think I'd have more to say after not posting yesterday (Thursday just got away from me), but that's all I've got going on.

Once again, it's T.G.I.F. and hip-hop class tonight. Y'all have a good one.

Diets all around! I saw the snow projection on the TV - apparently just rain and wind in New England but DS may be experiencing use of the generator with the wind.

Weight 130, WW weigh-in loss of 2.2, WW bluepoints 32.

Nice job Ann after a week like that! I always consider it a win if I don't lose weight or not much after a week of many food events. Though I do try to make my best choices when dining out since I do it so often (probably 50% of the time, with leftovers at other meals).

I will be so excited to be under 130 again. I just need to lose .6 this week to be back to WW lifetime range and not have to pay. My goal is to lose an average of 1 pound a wee****il I get into the low 120's. I'm planning to set my new range in that vicinity once I stabilize there. I think it's doable (and all my favorite clothing should fit then).

So in addition to my one hour walks every morning, I am doing yoga twice a week. It isn't as rigorous as home and costs a bit more but is at the lodge. Once I go in Medicare next month, I may try it at the Y located just outside our park.

Last night I "celebrated" my WW success by going out to eat at our favorite outside restaurant. I spent the gift card DD gave me at Christmas. I did have wine but not a ton. And they have a new wonderful crab cake on the appetizer list - very little filler. I loved it!

Today is walking, coffee, then I should make some calls. I have been acting like I was on vacation all week, but I should get my act together.

Have a wonderful end to the work week!

Good early morning, all. Methinks dog has the moon confused with the sun, and has sounded the alarm 45 min. Sooner than most days- up and at'em.

Coffee going as is milk heating for yogurt, cat food out (Swann very disappointed - they have yet to come up for breakfast. He is noisy entertainment as they eat), and I'm sitting here thinking that if I wait until I "feel" like showing self restraint and behaviors that reflect what I SAY I want to have happen- nothing but a continuing down the slippery slope is in my future. This has been confirmed by past, disasters as well as the Magic 8 Ball I just consulted.

I look to you all with gratitude as I take up Devon's banner making it my mantra for the day, and will-

Just ******g Do It.

All smiles your way as you enjoy moon-snow-rain-and sunny warm.

OH- and Bonnie, I laughed and laughed at your post re 30 min getting ready for snow all for 3 minutes out in it. Your experience, I think, just adds to the collective unconscious experience of every mothers' babies first snow out. Precious!

Another quick chime-in ... it's so nice to visit with y'all early today. It's a sweet way to start the day, eh?

Liz, isn't it a relief to see those numbers change? That's how I feel about finally being back down in the one-thirties.

Bonnie, I'm headed outside soon too ... I want to get the day's grocery shopping done early. But I can't turn away from watching the deer paw the snow as they look for acorns under the big oaks. See what I mean about restorative winters?

And Cecily ... I just combined a baked apple and one of your Kodiak muffins with a cuppa black coffee for a luscious breakfast. (I now plan to bake sliced apples under the muffins next time--upside-down apple muffins.) In short, this could not be a lovelier winter morning.

Up and at 'em!

Your great attitude is contagious! Just in from field tromping. The ground is just frozen enough to stay on top of it- by tomorrow, the snow will be gone and I expect to be mud-mucking-it. Lucky for us the dog has a wired Guard coat that magically repells all kind of dirt, pickers, stickers and such, as well as staying dry no matter the wet. Swann points out each and every deer trail with a "lets go investigate" (so far I have declined the offer- way too snarly looking for my tastes.

193.4 so glad to see you all losing! I sadly am stalled/up. Oh well, great runs can only last so long.

Last night I nearly forgot I was going to the theater with friends. My hour reminder popped up on my iPad while I was relaxing in my sweats drinking some peppermint tea. I thought, why is it reminding me about an event that is tomorrow? The wheels spun a bit more and I realized not only was it that night, but I needed to leave that minute to meet them a half hour before the show as promised. And I didn't have the tickets so it isn't like I could join them later! I had the presence of mind to give the dog his evening pills, ran upstairs pulled a brush through my hair, threw on some clothes and ran out the door hoping my shoes matched. I have never made it to the performing arts center faster (there may have been a lot of speeding). After all that, the show was not my thing, but I still enjoyed being with my friends.

This morning I made the muffins with giant blueberries and the addition of a little more salt and the suggested vanilla. Yummy. I think the blueberries make them. Apples sound delish too!

Today I'm pretty certain I don't have anything on the calendar, but who knows given my questionable schedule tracking abilities...
