Weight 130.8 (up .8 from yesterday's low which I expected), WW bluepoints 10. I am determined to be within Lifetime/no pay a week from now which I think I can do. After that I expect the last pounds to take potentially another couple of months. I am back into a fair number of my clothes so I'm okay with that.

Yesterday's lunch out was fun but the food was mediocre and relatively expensive. Good thing I only had soup. I wouldn't go back unless it was with someone *****ally wanted to go. After that a few of us went consignment shopping and found a couple of new places I didn't know about. I bought a couple of new tops likely unworn for $20.

Today is the usual morning walk, WW weigh-in, and yoga later. Maybe pool in the middle unless we go shopping for a small patio table.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Liz, it sounds just like a gently spent day in Florida should be. Enjoy.

Up early this morning (6:45), so do not understand how the time passes (it's 10:45) and all I've accomplished is coffee with DH and Swann's field work. Most days that walk lifts my spirits--today, just not exactly feeling it.

The house calls- no, screams for attention. I am deaf to the need. Blind I am not. Remedy found in earmuffs and blinders and a good novel. Out and about later for a gathering. It is my turn for treats. I am not even trying- and will be making both peach and raisin tarts. On the one hand- oh, **** On the other hand, baking is therapeutic-and I am a remarkable pie crust maker and these will be over the top splendid, and guaranteed to garner much praise. Yes, I'm going for the cheap shot - looking for approval from outside of my self. For today it is enough. As Scarlett says, "Tomorrow is another day".

Doesn't everyone look for approval outside one's self? I do that with my clothing (my cooking sure wouldn't work).

I don't need to clean down here but I have some calls/appointments to make that I've put off successfully so far this week...

I am spending a good deal of time with planning the big, blow out New York trip for DH's birthday. I set up a Facebook group, but I'm still getting texts what are the dates, what is the group doing Saturday morning etc. It's an interesting balance for me, because I like planning, but it's a bit daunting to make decisions for 16-18 other people. And making restaurant reservations for a group that large is not an easy task.

I've done okay with eating again today, (so far), but weight loss seems so far out of reach. I maintain, gain on vacation, return to maintaining, but I can't get past the weight I've been at for the past two years. I'm happy I've been able to suppress further gain, but I want to weigh less than where I am at currently. Reading about the various success stories from weigh****chers is causing me to reconsider whether I should join.

Weight 193.2

I had a nice time at the zoo and did great foodwise, but maybe a little too well as by the time we got home I was starving, feeling deprived of fun park food, and cranky. I delved into my fridge and overdid it by a lot. I didn't even bother tracking any of it. But the upside is, I left it behind Tuesday and was back on the wagon yesterday and today.

I've been working on a knitting project that took hours to figure out what I was supposed to do (I haven't touched it in a year and totally forgot how complicated it was not to mention not knowing where the heck I was in the pattern), how I got an extra stitch in it that was messing up the pattern, and how much to rip out to get back to a clean slate. I ripped, got it all back on the cables, and am back in business. I feel triumphant!

Otherwise, quiet days here...

I wish I could knit. I used to when young but I have too much arthritis in my fingers to manage now.
