  2. Blue SmartPoints: 28
  3. General Wellbeing: 8.5
  4. FSF: Found a new primary care, walked A & S, started marble jar
  5. Yesterday's Insights: Focusing on gratitude REALLY accelerates the shift

I am so flippin visual, it works for me if I use it. I got a bag of pretty glass vase marbles. I counted them out to represent where I started, and labelled where I want to be, 139, at the low end of my range. I put them all in one container, and then shifted some to represent what I've lost. I'll continue to shift as I loose, and when that container is empty, I've met my goal.

You just beat me - I checked to see if anyone else had but after I pressed submit your posting was up. I deleted mine. Looks like you are almost within range? Nice job. I'm still hovering where I am and need to stick to plan to drop. It will be harder in Florida in some ways (easier in others).

Weight 132.2, WW blue points 35. Not terrible for a night out... I was home in bed by around 9:30 since I had only slept about 3 hours on Friday night. No problem last night.

It is 7 now and I've been up since 6 - leaving at 8 for the airport. The car is on the trickle charger and everything is packed. It will be sunny and in the high 60's by this afternoon.

I don't know what we are doing about seeing the SuperBowl but don't anticipate watching it after the halftime.

Have a fun SuperBowl day if you watch it.

DianeO, you are really knocking down your regain. Woot! I like that you're using visual cues to portray your progress, although I didn't quite see in my mind your set-up. (Can you tell that visual acuity is NOT one of my gifts?) I'd love it if you were to post a photo of your marble/vase set-up when/if you're so inclined.

And Liz, you're finally on your way to warmer climes. I'm so happy for you. The FB photos of your beautiful Florida lanai and pool knock me out. I adore that blue/aqua color scheme.

Last night I slept so well, although it was helped by one Aleve PM I took at bedtime. Yeah, it was actual NSAID, but only one capsule and only one time. Damn, I remember how much I loved that drug! How weird would it be if I had to go to rehab to get off Aleve again.

This morning I was even more tickled to see the scales cough up a lower number--138.6. I'm now exactly three pounds above my 100-pound weight loss.

Kids, we are kickin' this WW scene.

Today's a trifecta holiday: Groundhog Day, the Superbowl, and a family birthday party. I read that Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow this morning, which means DD, DianeO and all humans living in Gloomy Land can now look forward to an early spring.

And speaking of birthday parties, I've thought of yet another tip to successfully navigate Dangerous Food Environments: Find out before the event which specific foods and drinks will be served. That way I won't be blindsided and can show up with a strategy that will work for me.

Today's musical theme is Chillin' with Instrumental Jazz. I listen to Pandora (the free version) and love the Jazz Radio station.

So SIL couldn't fly today! She left her wallet at the restaurant last night. She will probably fly tomorrow. I'm sitting on the plane now ready to go soon!

Greetings Dear Ones

Fiddling around washing dog blankets until the super bowl comes on. And the puppy bowl. Pot roast under way. I got up early to start it in the slow cooker and went back to bed.

Oops Liz, sorry SIL forgot wallet. Some years ago a friend here was going by himself to the Bahamas. Grabbed his passport and drove 6 hours to San Francisco to catch a plane. Got to the desk and discovered he had grabbed his wife's passport. Had to go home. Enjoy Florida. We are thinking of you and Justice on your lanai.

Diane O, what a great visual with your marbles and jars. Most of us would just make a graph or computer entries. How fun to be able to see your progress all the time and hear the satisfying "clink" when you drop another marble.

Stay warm all of you in cold places. Its chilly here but I have a pink azalea in bloom and some of the trees have flower buds. For some reason my computer is not letting me upload pictures lately. Must also go out to investigate the camellia.

Did the pool yesterday - mostly flutter kicking on a float. Who knows, I might even lap swim. Can't find my swim goggles but they are only 30 years old.

Peps when are these puppies due? We must know.

Cecily you have a cool yard. Looks good to me. Mine looks like a homeless camp. Mess.

Cheers all. Diane S

Weight 194. This may be a no loss week despite being under on my points!

So glad Liz made it to FL! Is DD still there? Our warm weather leaves today. Back into the 60s for a while. Hydrangea heads were removed and all rose bushes that the gardener trimmed back are fertilized.

I spent part if the day trying to figure out a knitting project I inadvisably out down a year ago and now can't figure how to start again as it's a complicated chart pattern and I can't remember where I was or how to do some of the trickier parts anyway. Argh.

I got rid of my cable a while back, so no Super Bowl for me. I could probably have figured it out on Sling (my dad has a subscription), but I couldn't be bothered.

Ferg and I took a walk last night that was too long, so he's been sleeping all day. He really didn't want to turn around every time I tried, so we kept going as he was having such a nice time. But it wore him and his arthritic legs out. He did get some lovely pets from a lady who got down on the ground to love him up last night, so I think it was worth it.

Ceci, that sounds like a great walk to me. What a sweetie your Ferg is. I love him from 2,000 miles away.
