Weight 132.8, WW blue points 19. I've been hovering in the same place for a week. I think I either need my points less, less of the free points, or I am in a stall. Sometimes I think I lose more after an unusual high day because I break a stall by eating differently. I guess time will tell!

This time tomorrow I will be on the road to the airport. That reminds me that I have to download a couple of shows and charge my kindle. I fly Allegiant which is closer and easier to get to than the major airports on each end, but there is no entertainment. The high tomorrow at our place is 66, but forecasts show it climbing to 80 over the next couple of days and staying there for quite a while. I am really looking forward to the change in scenery.

Today I am doing the final laundry, packing, and getting my hair done. DD arrives in the afternoon to visit, go out to dinner and drive us tomorrow. BIL arrives to visit and bring cookies and other sweets that I will leave for my son other than the batch to be given to a family in Florida. He has his own sweet binging issues so why does he want to invite mine to join, even when I specifically tell him not to? He seems to think it is showing affection, but not when I want to avoid them! I can manage for the one night the sweets and I are in the same house though...

Have a relaxing Saturday!

Liz, have a wonderful send-off to Florida. You deserve this time in the sun so, so much. The weather down there sounds parfait!

Re your BIL's determination to deliver sweets you don't want as a gesture of "affection" ... some people just be crazy and unhelpful and destructive or just ******g nuts. The older I get, the less energy I want to expend trying to persuade recalcitrant crazies to do better. I just want them in my life less. So sorry you've got this one.

Last night's birthday dinner at a restaurant for my widower friend was lovely, and he was so appreciative of the celebration. I negotiated the food/drink scene successfully following the tips we came up with a few days ago. I also found it helped to drink water in the car while driving there and driving home afterward. In other words, the car is a good place for me to hydrate, assuming I'm not driving for a long time. ;)

The bummer is that I woke up this morning at 1:30. Not sure what that was about ... could birthday cake and ice cream (although not much of it) keep one from sleeping well? I succumbed this morning at 6:30 to a 45-minute nap, but I don't think that'll screw up my sleep tonight.

Looking forward to a busy morning of errands and shopping, then have planned to do nothing this afternoon but write and read. Looking forward to that!

Weather here is GORGEOUSLY sunny, albeit cool (still in the 30s). Tomorrow it will be 68 degrees and again sunny! I hope to spend a lot of tomorrow soaking up genuine sunshine. :)

Today's theme is the real sweets, no sugar added: HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! :)

I gave the last batch (Christmas) to the staff at the hospital. You can't tell BIL that you give them away though or he feels insulted (like he is only happy if one is ingesting extra/useless calories???). I won't be seeing him as often now with DH gone, thank goodness.

He's like an adult Girl Scout! Enough with cookie pushers! I had one follow Ferg and I home from a walk to ring the bell. I gave her $20 and told her to keep the cookies. She seemed confused, then her mom kept saying, "they're really goooood..." uh, I know. That's why I don't want them.

I did a night time WW weigh in (usually AM) Thursday and I stayed the same, so I'll call it a loss. I had a good session with my therapist Friday. Still aching for some sun and warmth... won't see any here any time soon. DC sees the ortho Wednesday, and once we know when his next surgery is, perhaps we can get away for a few days prior to that. Keep posting those photos on FB Liz and DD. Ceci, Diane, Peps, Ann... as you mention blooms and blue skies, snap a shot for those of us who only have vague recollections !! (You posted blooms, Peps !) Peps, when do you get a head count ?

193.4 Very unproductive in the elimination department of late. Despite all the fruits and veggies. I think I need to step up the water massively.

Diane, here's a morning pic in my backyard for you. Not of anything noteworthy, but the sky is bright blue without a cloud and it's going to be 82 today. And you can see one lemon on the tree (a sad year for my citrus. They seem tired). Come for a visit!

No plans again today which means I need to come up with something good. I do need to trim off the dried hydrangea heads, so maybe I'll take care of that since it's pretty out.

I made a nice stirfry last night with some tiny filets I had frozen and some new edamame pasta I bought at Costco yesterday. A serving is 2oz dry and 200 calories (same as regular pasta), but with 12g of fiber it knocked the points down to 4. And Lord knows I could use the fiber! It tasted pretty good. Not fabulous like real pasta, but hit the pasta note I was craving.

Liz, your pic of the lanai made me jealous. What a beautiful lush view. I'm glad you get to be there soon. Ann, yet another food celebration successfully navigated! You are my role model in that. I can't seem to shake the I want to celebrate with food with everyone else mentality.

Hope everyone enjoys their day!
