Back home from yoga class, Walmart, UPS, and WW weigh-in ...
... to report that WW thinks I've lost 6.2 pounds in 4 weeks. :) HOWEVER, Week 1 I wore my shoes and didn't pee before weighing, so I'm deducting 2 pounds for that. BUT my estimated one-pound muscle gain this month gets added back in on the plus side and means that I reasonably think I've lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks.
Bottom line is that 5 pounds in 4 weeks is better than I've been doing on my own for some time.
More importantly (per my 2020 goals), I've lost 5 pounds while proactively eating some of my scary foods. I'm even buying some of it and keeping it in my house, but NOT overeating it!
So I'm tickled! :) Forward and downward.

P.S. Today at Walmart I found a good pita bread for 1 WW SmartPoint ... Joseph's Heart Healthy Pita (see image here).
It's only 1 SmartPoint, 60 calories, and 7 grams of protein. Can't beat that!
Also, Cecily, you were right ... this morning I found the Kodiak pancake batter mix at Walmart, although I'd already ordered three boxes from Amazon. Soon I'll have a lifetime supply of banana muffins. :)

Good Morning All
Popping in with a second cup of tea after being up since Sparrows Fart (Early) DS and I collected another ute load of pavers last night in 105F, it was so hot that we decided not to unload last night - opting to do so in the relative cool of first light this morning. Job done and front garden watered too. Second load of washing is tumbling around the machine and the cleaner comes in 20 mins. Good start to what will be another very hot day!
Going to see Elton John tonight with my best friend. I bought her a ticket and am looking forward to spending quality time with her. Predicted thunderstorms late afternoon - so Im hoping they are not too bad as its an open air concert. You can only get wet once right he he he.
DSD and her partner came for dinner last night. I made a herb and garlic crusted beef early in the day - we sliced it and served cold with a warm gravy. I made potato salad, green salad and coleslaw too. Perfect dinner for a hot night. Finished with blueberries, red grapes and ice cream. DH and DS will have leftovers tonight and sent DSD home with lunch today.
Tommorrow we pick up my BIL from the train station - hes working overnight then coming to us. We will drive him 4 hrs away to Echuca as we all have the wedding of a family friend. Its going to be hot too.... Staying overnight up there which will be lovely. Its one of my favourite places and in fact I nearly moved up there pre DH. Sunday will be dropping SIL and BIL at their city home on the way back to ours. DH leaves for Qld Monday morning for 2 weeks with work. I will go on Thursday for a week - Looking forward to a change in scenery.
Have been continuing to tidy and sort around here and its starting to look a lot better. Isnt it funny how doing something like this that you have wanted too for a long time and put off - makes you feel when you finally stop procrastinating and actually get it started...... Who knew. I have a permanent box for the Op Shop now - when I hesitate on an items need to long - it goes in there as I clearly dont need it. We have too much.... Some of the stuff Im listing for sale - funds will boost holiday funds is the plan.
So I likely wont make it here over the weekend but hope you all have a safe one.
Diane O - Hope DH feels much better very soon. Hes having a rough trot at present.

Greetings My Pretties
No weight today. Not for some week. Serious ostrich behavior on my part. I just don't wanna.
Super Bowl coming up as the next major eating obstacle. Fortunately, we have one friend coming over so no need for me to get junk. I will make a pot roast with tortillas available.
Sun is out today. I did the pool yesterday so skipping out today. Errands to run and junk to toss.
All o f you WW people are doing well. I am impressed. I should probably sign up but in my old age I so hate following directions. Tell me to do A and I want to do B. Probably oppositional disorder but I can't be bothered.
Shirley enjoy the concert. I am envious.
Hey I saw some daffodils yesterday. No, it ain't spring or even close but still nice. Its dry today and I hope we get a few days of it.
Off to the studio to goof around and socialize. I guess thats where I do most of my socializing since there is a ready supply of fun people there. Grateful for it. Only a few business chores to do.
DH is back from his lunch and brought home part of a pizza. I am glad because then I won't have to cook dinner.
Not much else going on. Pleasantly dull life. Take care all. Diane S
"Pleasantly dull life" ... I love it, too.
Dear hubby's and my favorite happy phrase we repeated to each other over and over was: "Home alone!"

Weight 193.2 One full month (the 30th to the 30th) and 14.6 pounds. I wonder if intermittent fasting is playing any role in the speed other than stopping my evening grazing? I wouldn't have any points left to graze with, so I'm not sure. Either way, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'll keep doing both!
I had to get out of the house for the cleaning folks, so the therapist, a half salad at Panera with my book, and a quick stop at PetSmart for a new pooper scooper filled the day. The last one lasted 12 years. I think I got my money's worth.
My dinner is in the oven and I just scarfed down popcorn and an apple (Ferg helped with both).
Not much else to report! Ann, hope you like the muffins. They aren't decadent muffins, but they do the trick. I looked up the blueberry one at Panera and it was 19 points. My WW ones will do just fine, thank you very much.
Cecily, this WW/intermittent fasting combo is working so well for you! Congratulations!
