While we were at the park with Atlas and Sadie yesterday, a car drove by, looped around and came back. A woman got out and came over to the fence and called me over. She said, "Please tell me that red fox male is intact ! " I thought she was going to cry when I told her Atlas was neutered ! She is a breeder and loved him. I gave her the contact information for our breeder, and hopefully she will find what she is looking for. Peps, when people admire your dogs and realize the lineage... you must have to pick them up off the floor. I loved the photos of that sweet lady with purple and sage. I think I know who spoke to her heart.
Liz, hope things went well yesterday and that today brings more closure. Ann..cant wait to hear your travel plans !!

Ah, what a complement to Atlas! Yes, I want to hear Ann's plans too!
Yesterday was exhausting. Non-stop line from 4 to just before 8. The wait was 45 minutes at one point. Family (extended, by birth, through stepparents, etc.), friends, neighbors, lawyers, scouting people, co-workers. One man from my Cape Cod support group came to pay his respects (from 90 minutes away). DH was well loved and respected! My feet were killing me and the 6.5 hours of sleep wasn't enough, but I will get by. I am SO glad I came home to sleep.
We leave for the funeral in 1/2 hour. I am dreading the service, but I know the luncheon will be nice.
Love you all!

Oh, Liz! What an amazing send-off you gave Paul. And WHAT an amazing display of respect and love from all his friends and family that day was.
It's hard (I know) not to focus on the end of life for those we love whose ends were tough (are any really easy?), instead of on all the living and loving and creation that happened before the end.
Obviously, Paul's was a life so very well lived. And he was loved.
You did good, girl.

I am sure that by the time you read this the funeral will be over, lunch will have been had and you will be headed home from the interment. A very long day. So much of what I have followed on FB proves what a well loved and wonderful person Paul was prior to his illness. The funeral you planned for him honored him beautifully.
Forgot my stats: weight 134.6, WW points 21.

WW is on hold for a few days. Have to get my **** back together. I allowed my mood to really derail me yesterday. Continued a bit today. Must stop.... Going through some real self doubt and less than adequate as a human being feelings. Boooooo! LOL! But I will be fine. That I know.
Cancelled training today. Just not up to it.
My big deal for the day is that I have actually started the process of researching and seeking out samples of flooring for the complete reno of the floors this summer. There are some deals and money savings to be had, if I purchase now rather than wait until April, May or June. I can buy and have the flooring stored and delivered in June. I have chosen the company/manufacturer. Now it's time to decide on product. Guess what? I'm going for DOG PROOF! LOL! I'm considering engineered bamboo, a hybrid bamboo with a limestone base, and a vinyl flooring with a limestone base, which is 100% waterproof. All are recommended for pets and are extremely scratch resistant and water resistant. I started working with a rep from the company today and am expecting a large box of samples early next week. While I'm at it, I'm going to have the kitchen cabinets refaced and new counter tops put in, too. WTH, right? might as well have a nice house while I can enjoy it. Seems there is no guarantee on how long we will be around to enjoy things.
Glad it is/was hump day!
