Wowza! What a great loss for the week.

Yes, supplements are super important! More so for our bypass friends, than for us, but still important for us, too.

Good job! And the tree at the curb too. When I put stuff off I begin to dread it. Such a relief when it is done.

Isn't that the truth?? Procrastination magnifies dread like crazy!

That's a great start and thanks for the reminder on supplements. I've been pretty good with them but sometimes I wonder about continuing.

Liz, I hope today leads you on a peacefully quiet path of coping. I so understand controlling external issues and situations helping you feel in control. Throughout my teens and early adulthood, cleaning and organization were forms of therapy for me. Still are, I just don't take advantage of those two things much anymore. I really should.

My students are having a very difficult time adjusting back to the classroom. I am not at all surprised. This group will take the week to get back into the swing. That's okay. It's who they are. This group and I have a different way of re-acclimating to the routine. They are like Mexican jumping beans. I am much more of the inattentive quiet type on days like this. I admit, I prefer to have to bring the kiddos down a notch or two to having to pep them up. Today we are finding our balance again.

WW is the focus of my eating today. I ate my Jimmy Dean Delight Egg McMuffin (or whatever it's called). All meals are packed for the day. I think I am emotionally primed and ready to do this. I'm not feeling anxious - as I often feel on restart days. Perhaps it's because I've had little sleep and my brain can't focus on anything but staying upright and working with the kids.

Puppies have two pens now. It's weird not having an outdoor set up for them, but it's too chilly unless they are in the direct sun. I will take them out in sets to get them used to the outside smells and sounds. Got them up, switched them to the pen in the dining room, got them fed, cleaned up the bedroom pen, and got them all tucked in back in the bedroom for a work day. No Auntie Kathryn today, so gave them a bunch of extra food and we'll see how it goes! Fingers crossed.

Dinner - If I do chicken breast, that will be zero points. Hmmmm.... Trying to have faith in the program. The level of flexibility is unnerving to me I think. I'm so used to be rigidly rule driven when "dieting". This zero point food approach, it's freedom from rigidity, the way it caters to my belief that lean protein should not be penalized, well, it's so utterly different that it is setting my eating disordered tendencies on high alert: "What do you mean, we aren't going into starvation mode? You mean we can eat enough meat to feel satisfied? This is not how we do it. You can't lose weight without feeling deprived. You know this won't work. We want our all or nothing familiarity. Why must you do this?"

Joy of joys.... there was NO traffic today going to school. My usual 35 minute drive was a quick 15 minute zip down the road. I wi**** was always like that.

Ever onward.

Afternoon update: I went looking for the milk and found I put it in a cupboard yesterday. And I can't even blame stress!
