12/31/2019 Tuesday (New Year's Eve)
Just making a second quick post to say how much I'm enjoying everyone's posts today ... EXCEPT for DianeO's news about their house nearly burning down. Still, it could have been so very much worse.
Devon, when I saw Robert Downey, Jr.'s picture above I thought, "Yes! That's who Peps looks like!"
I've just arisen from a two-hour nap. I passed out after yoga class, errands, and lunch. I'm going to be sore tomorrow.
Part of me wishes I were going to a fancy-dancy New Year's Eve party tonight. But my better self knows how much more I'll enjoy the new year if I can manage to get another nine hours of sleep tonight.
Party on, those of you who can. :)

Greetings All
Well this is my last post of the decade! Think of that. WE are staying home and being bored. Have to give Tesla a chill pill since there will be fireworks and gunfire tonight. Yeah this town is sort of a hillbilly town and people shoot off guns at midnight. Hoping I can convince DH to watch football and not creepy sci fi.
Yikes DianeO, a near fire! Be careful there. So glad it wasn't worse. Lots of people around here depend on wood stoves mainly. I kind of wish we had one.
Scrabble today was relaxing though I did not do so well. Then it was running year end errands for studio and gallery, trip to bank etc.
Liz so glad your DH has been calmed and is going back to his place. You need a dose of normalcy.
Peps, Robert Downey Jr. is indeed you. But before we make this movie Ann has to write it.
I so wish my house could be deep cleaned but it would mean weeks of work clearing debris. I will think about it tomorrow.
Another post roast in the slow cooker and butternut squash to be steamed. I am craving orange veggies for some reason. The dogs are lusting after the pot roast.
My niece had surgery today to repair torn knee tendons. She is MO and I wish she would consider our surgery. She knows all about it as her dad (my brother) did it and did well. She is in her late 30s and I fear the knee is the beginning of health problems associated with weight.
Take care all.
