Drive by post. I will offer my thoughts about Christmas festival duties when I am done doing them. I have multiple boxes packed and labeled in the back of my car: brunch, lunch, snacks, decorations , etc. I am bringing just about everything needed to feed 12 people for the weekend. I wish I could do it with the same loving and cheerful attitude as Shirl. Hopefully I can fake it for my family, only because my mother's health is truly precarious and I want her and Dads 60th anniversary to be nice. Having it at their house, but me doing all the cooking is the only way. My mom is not well enough to travel, and needs to be in her own bed at night. I am trying not to mourn my previous suggestion that we all go to a resort. Let it go I, I tell myself. I'm sure I'll be in a better mood once I'm drinking wine in my parents family room. I know I will be. I'm just tired now. See you all on the other side when I get to Sunday. My parents changed their WiFi provider, and don't know what they did with their password. I haven't told my kids this fascinating news yet. :)
Oh, I'm dying laughing about the secret WiFi. But to the kids that's going to be very sad news indeed.

Christmas Eve I went to work on our rental house. Came home and settled in to pneumonia I guess. Feeling better tonight. I started antibiotics this morning. Next year needs to be healthier!
Adalyn s toy were spread out over the couch and when she walked in and saw everything she said, wow. A long drawn out wow. She got a mini trampoline for toddlers. She jumps a while, uses it for a landing zone for other toys and when she gets tired she will grab her blankie crawl up on the mat and cover up head to toes and pretends to go to sleep. She is starting to show more signs of affection. She has hugged me while patting my back for a few months. DD and DW are getting in on some of the hugs now. Even the dogs get hugs. Her speech is not very clear but vocabulary is increasing everyday. She loves candy. More than any child I have met. I have tums by my chair and she thinks it is candy. I break them into 6-8 pieces. She is allergic to milk and cheese so it is calcium supplement. She loves to dance. She makes me laugh until my face hurts. yes I know I am blessed by this joy.
Christmas decorations have been more on the female side of the family. I like to cook but DW is better at it than me. She cooks the traditional holiday foods. She hates washing dishes and I never minded so it is a good trade.
DW family are celebrating tomorrow. I will be staying home. Do not want to share my cuddies with them.
more later, David
