VSG Maintenance Group
12/10/19, Tuesday
Thank you as always for your support. DS was in a state yesterday which had exacerbated my anxiety but he is calmer with the information from the nurse I spoke with. DS says that his Dad is still in there and is trying to do his best for him. Always easier when DS and I are on the same page. Everyone else defers to me, but DS is more questioning. Sometimes good, sometimes not. And thank god for Alzheimers Family Support of Cape Cod. I could never navigate these situations without them.

Greetings Cool People
Its December so we are all cool (except Shirley). So stay warm all. Its cloudy and calm here and soon I will be off for an afternoon of scrabble by the fire. I sometimes feel guilty for leading such a charmed life,
The pot roast turned out great. It was all about selecting the right cut of meat. The failure pot roast was a cut I never heard of (thinking anything will work if cooked long enough). Not so, chuck roast needed.
Speaking of chuck roast, Shirley I hope you get some good ones from the cranky steer who smashed your DH hand. So cute to think of you driving it around to calm it. Gosh take care of your health - crashing steers and respiratory ailments don't mix well. Chicken soup needed and someone else should make it for you.
DianeO, glad to hear you can get to the pool and that you have mani-petti appointment. You need some "you" time. Wishing DH an uneventful recovery.
Liz I can't say enough how much I am thinking of you. DH's cruel disease can take so many different twists and turns. Sending good karma.
I did the pool yesterday and practically had it all to myself. Hope to get there again today after an exhausting afternoon of kick ass scrabble.
Mamogram tomorrow. Ladies, make sure you get one regularly!
Cheers all, Diane S
Hmmm... Pot roast. I think Mississippi pot roast may be on the menu when I get home.
