Up seven pounds, four above my range. I am in survival mode, and haven't spent time there since VSG. I don't like feeling out of control and I am struggling to regain it. What little sleep I had was restless. I washed the windows on the triple slider and that raised my spirits. Then, Atlas broke out of the back yard as his world has been rocked too. The people who put the fence in did not place rigid piping along the bottom of the chain link and the link is not set in the ground. We have invested hundreds in rebar stakes to secure things, so I'll figure this out today.

Atlas worked so hard to make that hole. It is hard staying on the right side of the fence.

LET the sun shine in! I love windows and could spend some serious winter coffee time at that table!

Diane, there is a serious battle going on- cosmic war fare that I'm sure you have not asked for nor do you deserve. Your cir****tances suck right now- too much overload. Reach way down and rely on your abundant strengths to see you through. They are there! Step back- regroup when you can and carry on. I am so rooting for you. May the sun touch and heal you. Sending all my love, prayers and positive energy your way today, tomorrow- however long it takes.

Oh Diane, sometimes it is one thing after another isn't it? Things will get better!

The Boat Parade was very cool - somewhat literally as we were there by 6:14, but the boats didn't come by until 7:30. Many, many boats! My pictures don't do justice, but you can get the idea. It was much darker than it looks but the iPhone works hard to lighten up the picture.

I have no idea what I am doing today! Possibly going to the dog beach with Justice. I sort of love not having to do anything.

Have a satisfying Sunday!

My posts from yesterday look a bit crazy, as my auto correct on my tablet is insane. I'll try to do a better job proof reading today.

Yesterday was busy, but fun. DH and I went for breakfast, then stopped at his brothers house to visit the nieces who were in town for a new grand nieces baptism last night, and a baby shower today for another niece.

Then we had an early dinner downtown with friends followed by a concert. If any of you remember a group called The Suburbs, the concert is headlined by one of their singers, Chan Polling. If a Prairie Home Companion was created by hipsters, you'd have this concert. It's sort of in that vein, with songs, poetry and guest singers. Some of the guests are unannounced, this year the big surprise was John C. Reily!!! Great actor, but also fine musician. Super fun. We got home at midnight. After staying out until 2 am I am wiped out but...

Today is the shower, followed by my controversy clubs Christmas gathering. I'm tired. But I'm going. Of course the irony, all this in one weekend, and next weekend there is not one thing on my schedule yet. I'll rest then. :)

Your active social life just blows me away! A true butterfly. The advantage of big city living- lucky you. Enjoy.
