WOW, Devon! My hat's off to you. You're such a pro and such a good obstetrician. I certainly don't have those aptitudes or skilz.
Well done!

Went to Searcy day before yesterday to pick up a washer dryer. SIL was starting phase 2 of her construction. They sold us the washer and dryer but they said we could have whatever was left in the house they are about to demo. This house had been redone a couple of years ago. So it had some good stuff in it. After we loaded the washer dryer, we got 2 commodes, bunches of adjustable wire closet shelving, a vanity with sink, ceiling fan, light fixtures, 3 air conditioners, 6 doors with knobs, a box of cabinet hardware, 2 box fans, 2 mirrors and a microwave. Could have gotten more but the back and knees were screaming. Kinda wanted to go back yesterday but I could not move. I was making old man noises every time got up. More than normal old man noises. As the day wore on we did manage to get everything unloaded. Today went to Home Depot to get stuff to install the dryer. We have been without a working washer/dryer for over a month. The repairman says they just don't have enough information to fix them. It is an LG washer dryer combo that needs repair. They about $1800 new. Hate to not have it repaired but I can't fix it and neither can the repairman. My son has one just like it and it is broken too. The set that we bought from SIL is a simple top load washer, front load dryer Maytag. I am having to run a 220v line for the dryer. We should be washing and drying tomorrow. Yea!
DW found some research on Omega 3 found in fish oils in higher doses for depression. I have tried everything else I thought I would give this a try too. I have only been doing this for about a week but I think my mood has lifted some. Research said about a month before significant relief. We will see.
yes, more later, david

I was just wondering out loud with my best friend yesterday at what age we started making noise upon rising, lifting, or other physical activities. I'm in good shape and I, too, make old man noises! I wonder if it's a guy thing. I don't notice women making old lady noises (well, not the same type I'm talking about! LOL)
David, it sounds like, based on all the appliance rescue and moving work you did yesterday, that your knee continues to heal well. That was a lot of work for anyone, much less a wheezing, noisy old man *****cently had knee surgery! :)
Best wishes with the Omega 3 and depression. I really look forward to hearing at the end of a month how you think it's helped you (or not). TIA.

We had a very rambunctious early Thanksgiving with husband's side of the family. Nephew's fiancee was there so we got to trot out a lot of the classic stories. She needs to know, right? Make a truly informed decision.
Tonight after work, met up with yet some more high school friends. So our 40th class reunion was this summer, and neither bff or I were able to attend. Many of our 120 classmates left our little town and are scattered about the Minneapolis metro area. Bff seems determined to meet with everyone she didn't see at a reunion, in small groups, and keeps setting up gatherings to which I'm invited. I go if I can, and it's pleasant enough... but I'm left with the feeling that had I a burning desire to hang out, it would have happened in these last 3 decades. And likewise on their part. Not sure what's driving bff: nostalgia, curiosity, the knowledge time is passing... I'm kind of along for the ride.
Big snowstorms predicted starting tomorrow. I hope the timing doesn't shift and delay my chickadees from returning to the nest. I tell myself to not worry, because there is not a thing I can do to change it, but worrying about snow is part of the DNA of the Midwest and the Bold North.
