No Devon post yesterday so I looked on FB to see if perhaps there were puppies.
The weather is wonderful here. Our friends are leaving today to visit a relative for a few days but we are spending Thanksgiving with them next week. And then viewing the sand sculptures of course.
Today is a few errands, putting together patio furniture arriving this afternoon and perhaps painting my new towel "bar". I'm going to mount boat cleats on a wood base to attach to the wall for my bath towel.
And I want to eat clean today - no wine as there has been too much of that this week.
Have a flipping Friday!

Whenever I have a massage, I try to really fatigue my muscles first, to deepen the appreciation. I met that goal yesterday, with lowing, raking and dumping leaves for a couple of hours first. Felt sooo good ! Have o run to do errands, but wanted to check in and make sure you all know how grateful I am for this tribe of mine !!

Scales are stable, yesterday's eating was good, and exercise was quite respectable.
Today's schedule is less hectic, but am definitely busy at home and doing appointments and errands in town. Last night we had "thunder boomers," and it's gloomy today, but there'll be less rain than yesterday.
It's almost Thanksgiving! I'm getting excited. I'll be with my husband's children all next week, which will be wonderful. I'm mentally practicing my clean-as-possible intentional eating behaviors for next week. I even asked my stepdaughter to hide all the chocolate in her house before I get there. I wouldn't ask just anyone that, but I felt comfortable asking her, and she was totally for it. As our fearless leader, Diane, says, accept all help offered, which I'm expanding to ask for specific help from others I'm pretty sure would like to help me.
I keep thinking there's something I need to tell you, but I can't remember what it is. BTW, a good friend who's six months younger than I am has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Erk.
And now I have the impression I've told y'all all this stuff before. Alzheimer's, anyone?
If I weren't afraid of Bonnie B for using the C-word before Thanksgiving, it really is starting to look and feel a lot like C-time around here. So here's a C-song of which Bonnie would completely approve: "The Day After Thanksgiving"

Enjoying my for medical reasons day off so far. On my way to my appointment in just a minute, but thought I'd pop in. This evening we are going to see the Tom Hanks movie about Mr. Rogers. It looks pleasing, although I don't expect to be as moved by it as I was about the documentary that came out about two years ago. People were sobbing in the theater. Mr. Rogers philosophy that everyone is valuable and a beloved child of God, so simple, yet complicated, so revolutionary.
No specific plans for Saturday. Sunday we're having an early Thanksgiving with husband's family. The first holiday since his sister died. It is always a treat to get together and I love seeing my grown up nieces and nephews.
Enjoy the day!
No pups yet. Super busy getting ready for pups and finishing conferences. I came home and took to my bed! I napped on and off for 3 hours! It was delicious.
I'm guessing pups will arrive tomorrow as I predicted. If she holds off until Sunday, I will be amazed. I will keep y'all posted.
