Eating yesterday was pretty good. Scales are moving the right direction. However, I've had so many appointments and errands this week that getting any serious exercise, other than the lovely 1.5 hour yoga class Tuesday morning, has been difficult.
Today will be another good yoga class, then a health insurance renewal appointment and a book club/luncheon. It's raining cats and dogs right now, and it'll be a cloudy, drippy day, albeit not cold, so it'll be a rainboots/raincoat/frizzy hair day.
I'm doing well. Not much more to say. I'm just trying to get all my chores, appointments, errands done while regarding them as another form of yoga.
Everybody have a good day, regardless of your weather.

I am slow getting up and waiting for my meds to kick in. Our renter contacted us to inform us that our ho****er heater burst yesterday and an attempt to stop the leak they made it worse. Water in both bathrooms and hall and I think both bedrooms. I installed a solid vinyl locking floor. I will find out in a couple of hours what the damages are.
Eating will be stress induced as I am dreading the work already. It will be what it is. It is probably not as bad as in my head.
I guess I should get up and start loading up my tools. It has stopped raining for the moment.

I would just get back in bed if that happened to me. I'm glad you have the right skills for that mess. Shudder!

I've been AWOL dealing with DH's clearance appointments, mandatory informational classes and general pre-hip replacement jitters. He has another UTI on top of everything and inadvertently cancelled tomorrow's follow up with the urologist from the last one instead of the podiatry appointment he was supposed to cancel. He can't get another urology appointment until February, so we had to go to urgent care to get anti-biotics started before we travel four hours to see his primary Monday. On top of that, I received the $927 bill for the ambulance ride a day before notification that insurance would pay $777. All of this chipped away at my positive attitude and resilience and left me feeling depleted, defeated and depressed and I found myself beginning to isolate. Thanks for the check-in, Ann !
Through it all, the strength training and stretching and lap swimming in the pool have helped sustain a healthy relationship with food... wi**** carried over to wine. I can't begin to describe how much music powers me through physical activity. I swear by three things... Spotify ap, which enables me to create and/or download playlists with music I respond to. My Delphin waterproof player and ear buds https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DVS7GYL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b _search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 bring this music to the water. My water sneakers https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KLG5BZS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b _search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 give me the stability and grounding I need to make the most of in water stretching and running.
Peps and Leap, I hope your floods are resolved painlessly today. Please give Ella and Adalyn hugs and kisses respectively. Ceci, congratulations on your fluffy dog and no jet lag. I loved the crested penguins too ! Shirl, enjoy your long weekend in Brisbane with DH and 50th party. Let them do the work ! DD, love your small step goals. Liz, 75 degrees !!?? Sounds like heaven ! Ann, our intrepid traveler ... you are our hero !! I made a note about a silver cloud, but now have no clue why. BB, you are doing such a great job finding your stride in the hardest balancing act of all !! Glad you made some time to get away with DH. Miss Bonnie, check in when you can !! Love to all !
