For in home, maybe consider Peloton. It's not something for me, but I have friends who absolutely LOVE it! You and DH could both benefit from it.

Good Morning All, sorry I didnt make it here yesterday and oh my!!! Diane so sorry to hear - that must have been so scary & awful x Rest lots and let DC take care of you x Im thankful it wasnt a stroke or heart attack xxx

Yesterday was productive. Took my mum shopping for groceries. She picked the meals she would like. Then grabbed a few things. More plasters for the wound on my leg etc. Came home & made a platter for our lunch, hummus, carrot, celery, cheese, meat & crackers- was yum. I then hopped on the tractor and slashed around the house yard till 5pm before the rain hit. Need to do more today after we come home from breakfast.

Dinner was home grown steak(from SIL) sweet potato mash & steamed veg. Delicious- tastes so incrediably different. None of us could fini**** so there are 3 meals in the freezer. Tonight Im making mum Pork San Choi Bow- mince in lettuce cups.

Loving reading about all your adventures. And will try and pop back later. Best help mum get showered and ready to go to The Rusty Bike for breakfast with most of the family x

Greetings Good People

Its so good to hear from you DianeO and that nothing terrible is wrong. What a fright! We must all study up on reactive hypoglycemia. Several years ago I fainted and ended up in hospital. 20 minutes on a bag of fluid and i was fine but they tested for brain stuff and heart stuff. I think I had the same thing. Had not eaten much. Dr. Cirangle says it happens to sleevers. So stay healthy Diane and everyone stay hydrated and nourished.

Got a call this morning from a friend who was in the ER last night. Diverticulitis. Second such visit. She needs to be scoped. Anyway she needed scrips and needed me to run the errands. She lives in a cabin in the woods on a one lane road so its a travel adventure. I fear she will need to get taken back to ER tonight and I don't want to be the transport. So we are watching our football team even though I know result.

BB maybe you could get an exercise tape that your kids would enjoy too. Like a fun dance program. Not sure how mothers manage young kids these days. We have an expensive high end treadmill that DH uses periodically. I don't like the way it vibrates on my feet. I did some walking in the pool yesterday and hot tub. Enough for me.

Lord knows what I weigh after Halloween. I didn't eat tons of candy but had some plus the beer cheese soup and two cookies. Feeling bloated and sluggish.

Stay warm all of you in the north and east. So far so good here on the power. Soup all around!! Diane S

I guess this is my "Saturday Evening Post"...... Oh, couldn't resist! LOL!

Ocean Diane, so glad you got to go home today. SCARY!

Reative Hypoglycemia! Sheesh.... I did a quick read on it. It's also common in patients who have had gastric ulcer removal surgery. Can you say, "Hello, VSG!"? I'm guessing that in our case it has less to do with the pyloric valve than with the high pressure system created by the VSG. We push food through our stomachs much faster than we did pre VSG. Makes sense that sensitive individuals pushing higher glycemic index foods through at a faster rate, push insulin production which could produce a drop in glucose levels beyond the safe and healthy range. I know I have had a few hypoglycemic instances, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed with a nap and proper nutrition. I've never had symptoms beyond that severely "tired" feeling.

Kind of proud of myself for my exercise this week. I hit the gym 5 out of 7 days. It is a good thing. The exercise helps me feel positive about myself and helps me know I am doing something good for myself while I continue to work on my disordered eating. Admittedly, I am struggling with letting go of the sugar. There is a physical component to the letting go, but even stronger is the emotional part. I think my BOOOOOOOOOOOOO expresses my feelings on the subject best! Just have to keep plugging away!

Ella is really beginning to show. She's also beginning to have a little bit of reflux. Poor baby. More little meals are in order, I think. Well, off to do some grooming on Ace.
