Good news !!! Gastroesophageal reflux disease WITHOUT esophagitis ! There is some redness and irritation, but my esophagus is healthy !! He is changing my PPI from Pantoprazole 40 mg. two times a day to Rx Nexium 40mg. once a day, an hour before dinner. He explained that over time, our bodies can build up a tolerance for any medication and things need to be switched up a bit. I go back in a month for the results of two stomach biopsies to identify bacteria present (checking for H. pylori ?) and to check on how I am doing with Nexium. I didn't have the energy to walk far yesterday, and couldn't drink even water, so my steps were way down.

Shirl, hope you and DH are rested and feeling better fed by healthy frittatas. I know washing my two fur babies would never be a part of a low key weekend ! Liz, so sorry to hear DH continues to rapidly decline. Enjoy your visit in Portsmouth and buzz over to Kittery and do some outlet shopping for both of us ! Miss Bonnie... good on you for such great walks and for being a great model of toxin deflection for DS ! DD, every time you mention your controversy club, it sounds more fabulous ! Not being part of setting up a new place for an adult child is hard to adjust to ! Peps and DD... the period from Halloween to Valentine's was one freakin food orgy in my schools !!! My heart goes out to your efforts to stay the course. So many people don't seem to be impacted by the carb/sugar train the way I am ! Peps, I swear by Fairlife whole for my IP yogurt. I knew it was time to retire when I'd see a sweet child dressed as you described and found it more and more difficult to refrain from grabbing the parent, and shouting, "Are you f-ing kidding me ?! " as I shook them. Ceci... have a ball ! You have a great attitude about your new clothes. It is all about how they fir and make you feel... not the tag. David, hope the knee is better. Do you have any pictures of Adalny as a mouse...with sunglasses I hope !? BB, what a realistic attitude WHILE bouncing back from two consecutive pregnancies ! I third the vote for Dawn, by the way ! I vote for a gym with child care ! Diane, you are in my thoughts with hopes for safety and a source of coffee !

Great news on the scope yesterday!!!.

The sugar that I have been eating has the cravings kicking in overdrive. I wonder if they increase acid reflux. I have had reflux post op and post op pain meds. I have some reglan that I add occasionally in the daytime. It helps significantly. Reflux does not seem to bother me at night. I take Zantac at night but I have been seeing ads about a link to cancer and Zantac generics. I worked as a chemical plant operator for about 5 years. I fully expect to one day get cancer or liver failure because of the stuff I was handling. I will take my chances with Zantac. I guess PPI s are in my future if I can not get this to level out. I also think the sugar intake may be self sabotaging. And I need to weigh today.

Adalyn has not been feeling well again. Stomach bug going around at her daycare. Not a fever bug. She has not been eating much. She did cross a milestone. Saying Potty. She has been easy in that area. She needs some easy areas.
