144.4
Would like to think the 3+ drop on the scales was real, but yesterday about 2 some bug from hell attacked me and I spent the next 14 miserable in bed. Happy to say I'm feeling better this morning. Probably just a bit dehydrated and will get a more realistic reading tomorrow.
Nothing much to post due to above. Am just kind of washes out and intend to spend the day with books, good movies and plenty of hot tea.
We're seeing a lot on the news about the fires out there--stay safe- praying for cooler weather and rain.

Eating yesterday was good until evening when some sweets were consumed. Back in line today!

Greetings All
No weight today. Ho Hum.
Curses, there is going to be another power shut off here. Saturday night it looks like. Got gasoline and generator ready plus batteries. Gotta go for half and half and I bet the stores are busy. Again, our area is not that seriously fire prone but the transmission line area is the issue. Power company is too cheap to fix stuff. So annoying. Stores are selling out of generators and people are driving up to Oregon to the Home Depot and buying all the generators they can to bring down and resell.
Bonnie sorry you were sick. Hope you are better and can do some serious resting.
DianeO, no danger of me becoming a gym rat. Just a pool mouse and hot tub toad. But I got new pool shoes which are easier to put on.
I gotta figure out what to have to eat around here in view of upcoming outage. Plenty of cans of chili to heat on the camp stove. I feel like I should make some fancy dinner tonight since I won't have a full kitchen later Saturday. But some how pizza is appealing. We should probably eat what's in the freezer and put bottles of water in there to freeze.
Hey Liz, got the air fryer. Not sure if its the identical one to yours but similar. Maybe one day I can try it out. Already did a "test sleep" in the new nightgown I also ordered. Passes the test.
Shirley and Dave - a pox on the knee pain. Hope it goes away soon. Knees are delicate little creatures. Two per customer.
Well off to look for camp stove cooking material. Cheers all. Diane S
Made through another week in public education. I'm again, so tired, which is good, because it means I gave it my all. Now time to recharge.
Tonight we are going to see Boz Scaggs. Love his music. I guess that's apparent since we ponied up the money for tickets. But first.... a nap. Ahhh! Kitty must have anticipated that, because he's all curled up on the bed, waiting.

Glad you're on the mend, Bonnie! Diane, I think these power outages are so ridiculous. Fix your equipment, PG&E! And I read the fire in Sonoma was supposedly started by a downed power line, so what's the point of taking them offline if they don't take out the right ones? Grr. Edison is threatening the same for areas they cover, but I don't think it's as extensive as what's happening by you. Liz, so glad you're getting back into yoga. It's so good for your body. And Peps, so many puppies!! I am available for puppy sitting, but I can't be trusted not to smuggle one out...
Last day of super hot here, I think. I'm going out for a walk after dark again as that seemed to work better. This morning I got my eyebrows shaped. It's one of those things where I don't notice how poorly I'm doing maintaining them until I pay someone to do it right. She's a brow genius.
Otherwise, feeling pretty boring!
Hi Ho!
Those of you on FaceBook I'm sure have seen the news from here: Ella is pregnant! Looks to be 10+ puppies. We honestly don't want any more than that! Due date is 11/23-24. That's the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'm excited about the timing. I have a week off beginning on the 22nd! I'll get be with the pups the first week without needing to go to school. Then I think it's only a 3 or 4 week stint at school before the Christmas Break (as I call it under my politically INCORRECT breath!). I have a couple of very happy puppy people.
Eating is better, but not great. I had to ask for help at school today. We are heading into free food season beginning next week and I'm headed for major trouble, if I don't make a concerted and thoughtful effort to lessen my sugar intake. I asked our school site Office Admin and my teaching partner to help me be aware of my sugar intake. They are supportive and good natured.
Just answered the phone. My uncle died yesterday. My cuz was not forthcoming in her message to me on Monday about the shape he was in, so the news came as a complete shock. Like Shirl's SIL, my uncle's death was quick, though not out of the blue. Talked with my aunt and she is okay considering. She is practical. She told me not to come to his celebration of life, but to please come later when she would need the company. I agreed.
I'm gonna go work out. It will help me deal with the news.
Sorry Devon. Your FB post didn't make sense until I read this. Your aunt sounds like a strong lady. On another note, 10+ ...that is a lot of unique and distinctive neck wear.... What to you use..Ric rack ?
