Again much to digest as I think about tribal members, Diane and Dave confronting physical pain, with scopes and looming diagnoses, and knees that won't heal fast enough, and Shirl dealing with emotional pain, while her body let's her know, don't forget about me, I hurt too, and Diane S. And Liz dealing with the chronic challenges, Diane and her ongoing hand treatments, and Liz confronting the ravages of what Alzheimer's does to a family and Bonnie's travails to stay well. And Peps war with sugar. Living there right now too, I know that down on your knees begging for salvation feeling. And let us not forget Cecily and our furriest member Ferg and their battle against his heart disease and brown eyed Bonnie's journey through grief for her Grandma. Everyone with a story to tell, and yet also a light within, and determination, and empathy, and support for each other. This is a tribe of truly authentic people, wise people (some wisdom is so hard earned), evolving people... the best kind of people.

So. Darn. Hot. It's still 88 and it's 7:30 and has been dark for an hour. I did just take a walk and it wasn't terrible. Amazing what a difference not having the sun blazing on you makes even if the air is still hot.
I had a fun lunch with three good friends at a famous dim sum restaurant. It can have waits of 2 hours or more, but we got there before 11 and got in the first seating wave. It was really good, but we ordered way too much! Rookie mistake. We'll know better next time. Between the salt of Taiwanese food and the heat, I'm parched!
Not much else to report on. Other than lunch, I made more good food choices than bad ones. So I think that's a win.
