Good Morning All...

Quickly popping in with some devastating news. DH's sister passed away suddenly at work on Thursday afternoon. She was found unresponsive at her desk and could not be revived. We came up Thursday evening- the family is gathering to support each other. Im proud to be part of such a loving and caring family. My DH was very close to his big sister- they shared many special moments. She will forever hold a piece of my heart and Im thankful for her love, wit and beautiful caring nature. She was one of the most selfless people I have ever met. Always putting others before herself

There are many questions, rivers of tears and disbelief as we struggle to grasp and accept. In time we will have answers but the huge part of our hearts she held will never heal. RIP darling Sissi x

Big storm here ahead of the cold weather. But a yucky day is a good day to stay inside and do laundry and pack. I thought about shipping a bunch of it, but I am cheap sometimes and it seemed inordinately expensive in this day of free shipping for 30 pound bag of dog food. So I'll wrestle the bags in and out of the airport and just be thankful I'm not wrangling Fergie too. I'm going to miss him! I won't know what to do with myself without being on Ferg duty.

Left to do is transferring Ferg's stuff to the other house, packing up all the stuff that can't be packed until tomorrow, running a vaccum around the place and wiping down the bathroom surfaces, taking out the trash, sheets and towels laundry tomorrow morning, and unplugging everything that needs to be unplugged. We'll leave for the airport at noon so it won't be a crazy morning.

Tonight I'm making butternut squash soup with the last of the butternuts. My butternut squash lasagna was awful and the roasted butternut with some butter and brown sugar wasn't that great either, so hopefully this isn't a bust too.

Must dash!
