Well, looky there! My weight is actually dropping again while "eating mindfully and intuitively." I'm less than 2 pounds above my 100-pound weight-loss goal. God, I hope this scheme works while I'm on the road! If so, it's a whole new game for me. "What am I really hungry for?" has been the old pattern-breaker for me.
Just one more sleep before I'm outta here! Today will be a bit hectic, because ... packing. I'm still switching out clothing choices. But as my financial advisor kept reminding me after I went to NOLA for the winter with only two weeks' worth of clothes (thinking I'd be back home soon for eye surgery), "Don't you have a credit card?"
Oh! My! God! I just realized that there must be vintage/resale consignment boutiques in Paris, too! A quick search of The Google just produced "The 10 Best Consignment Stores in Paris, France." Will I ever come back?

I'm so excited for you! I can't remember - how long will you be there? Are you going alone, with friends, with a group?
Yesterday I visited DH before his dinner instead of sharing a meal. It actually was better because he doesn't really talk so meals can be painfully silent. I arrived at 3:30 just after the afternoon activity and he was in his room changing himself into pajamas! I helped him change back into clothes and we played a modified form of Jenga and looked at pictures on my phone until it was time for his dinner. I walked him to his seat, he kissed and hugged me and turned to chat with other people. Today a friend is going to visit him so I'm going to skip it.
This morning I am finally dragging my butt to yoga. It is overdue.
Have a fabulous Friday!

I'll be gone three weeks, about 9 days of which I'll be with 18 folks on a canal barge cruise, several days alone in Strasbourg, and a week in Paris. I may hook up with a few European pals in Paris. Or not. Either way, IMO if a person can't be highly entertained in Paris they should probably stay home. :)

Ohh, French consignment or thrift stores! The best kind of souviners. And you at a weight perfect for indulging your clothing cravings. We stopped in a thrift store in Gallway, Ireland, and my dd bought a super cute dress, I bought a locket. Every time I wear it, it reminds me of that day, and how happy the clerk was that we were making purchases, because the shop supports a charity.
Liz, so pleased to hear that Paul is doing well in his new setting. May it continue to be so.
Devon, congratulations on outstanding show news!
It's been a pretty uneventful week, and as always, I am so happy it's Friday. No firm plans for the weekend, and I'm pleased. Maybe some time to read.
