My dad is at the Mayo Clinic today for his 3 month check. The last two have been free of cancer. And no cancer detected today!! He doesn't have to go back for 6 months. His cancer only has a 12-15% 5 year survival rate so this is a huge deal! We've been telling him all along that someone has to be in the 12-15%, so why not him?
Like Shirl said ... wonderful, wonderful news! :)
Party night! :)

Good Morning All from Australia. Arrived back home around 2.30pm Wednesday. Plane left LA nearly 1.5 hours late causing us to miss connecting flight. Told we would be re-allocated onto next SYD-MELB flight whilst in the air. Well that didnt happen. Queue chaos when we got there. Finally rescheduled onto a flight with 8 hr wait. Not impressed. Seats downgraded & no offer of refund. No consideration at all. Finally found a helpful Guest Service ManGer who managed to get us on 10am flight.Ran to make it. Arrive in Melb & only 1 of 4 cases made the connecting flight. Promised they would be on flight 3 hours later- wait 7 hours before calling & told they cant find them. After 3 phone calls & being given the run around- safe to say I lost myy patience. We finally received them 11 hours after we landed in Syd and could sleep after being awake over 38 hours without sleep!! One of the cases has been shredded- the beautiful pottery bowl I bought in Truckee for my best friend- in many pieces. I am battling the airlines baggage section now. Not an ideal way to end the holiday!
Its good to be home. Spent half a day at city house, u packing & washing before driving up to the farm. Hopped on the tractor/slasher and mowed till dark. DH was on the ride on. Puppies are happy being back at the farm. So far we are managing Jet Lag. Staying up till around 8pm n sleeping till 6am. Pushing through
