DianeO, the ring is beautiful and I like the significance of each stone.
Life in the shop is going well. DW has been cleaning since she came out to be with me after surgery. She is now going through boxes of clothes that are too small. She has also restricted dog access to most of the shop. They bring in a bunch of sand. They are still with us but baby gates are up.
In my nursing life I have met some pretty tough people. They had to have painful procedures and they might have a rare complaint. Today I have realized I am not one of those type of people. Never will be. I have 6 exercises with 20 reps each 3 times a day. Now I have added the PT routine as well 4 days a week. I whine all the time. I make old man noises just walking across the room. Peps work outs would just kill me off if I even tried to do one. All that said I am still slowly improving.
More later, david

A tree fell around the corner from us last night and knocked out the power and the cable/phone/internet lines. All fixed by noon today, but sleep was disrupted with no fan and a panting dog. I am going to take him to the vet Monday for a check as he's been panting more the last several nights (I had the a/c on so it wasn't hot). The panting doesn't happen during the day, so it's confusing. Tonight he made some awful gagging noises and threw up some bile post-pills. I gave him a famotidine to calm his tummy. Lordy he worries me. The noise scared my dad too and he's concerned about dog sitting while I'm on my trip because what if he dies. Ugh. He needs to buck up! My vet doesn't board, so he's really my only option.
Today, Ferg got a much needed bath. He'll roll in something nasty soon enough to erase my hard work.
Today wasn't terrific eating-wise, but I've certainly done worse.
Diane, I hope your big day is wonderful!
Just want to say: I love you guys!
